Sinner than Saints: Today

Do you think the saints are the same today as they were back in the days of the New Testament?

I hate them that are of a double mind; But thy law do I love. Psalm 119:113 ASV

Most Definitely they are they are double-minded just like back in Jesus' day. I am not saying all are that way but there is a lot that I can think of and will not mention as I do not want to bash anything or anyone.

Those things that were written back in the day are just as it was for the saints of that time as to the saints that are today.

For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 ASV

The Bible is living, which means the things that are written in it are still active today.

The message for the saints of the day is the same as the message for the saints of today. God's word is the same today, yesterday, and forever.

God's word is timeless so is what it has to say so the word for the saints will be the same in twenty years as it was back then and today.

So, all the things we have talked about as for the saints of back then are for the saints and what they look like today (a lot not all).

So, take time and look over the last few day's posts and apply them to today's saints.

Don’t Be Like the Pharisees

12 Many thousands of people came together. There were so many people that they were stepping on each other. Before Jesus spoke to the people, he said to his followers, “Be careful of the yeast of the Pharisees. I mean that they are hypocrites. Everything that is hidden will be shown, and everything that is secret will be made known. What you say in the dark will be told in the light. And what you whisper in a private room will be shouted from the top of the house.” Luke 12:1-3 ERV
