This psalm gives the when, where, and how we are to praise (glorify Jesus) as we have been talking about.
to recap the when:
24/7 kind of thing:
I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalm 34:1 NKJV
Where:
In the sanctuary:
Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. Hebrews 13:15 ESV
In the heavens:
148 Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights.2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. Psalm 148:1-2 KJV
How:
Instruments:
Let’s come before His presence with a song of thanksgiving, Let’s shout joyfully to Him in songs with instruments. Psalm 95:2 NASB
Dancing:
Let them praise His name with the dance; Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp. Psalm 149:3
Breathe:
My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to You; And my soul, which You have redeemed. Psalm 71:23 NASB
The end of Psalm 150 says, praise the Lord, the same way the Psalm started which says, praise the Lord.
We are to praise to the Lord. The Psalm says it twice, so we know that this is important. Praise the lord!!!
God, we praise you this day
God, we give you all the glory and honor you so richly deserve
We shout amen and hallelujah
We jump for joy
We praise You for all things and everything
We just say praise be to God
In Jesus Name
Amen
