LOVE Type: Storge

Today's type of love that we will be looking at is storge. 

This kind of love is Greek in nature meaning it comes from a word in Greek.

This kind of love is the love we have for our family, the bond between parents/kids, and the bond between sisters and brothers.

From what I have read this kind of love happens naturally.

And then there's...

The church and its members are part of one big family in Christ. 

We are all part of God's great big family.

We are bound together by the flesh but by Jesus Christ.

50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” Matthew 12:50 ESV

By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers 1 John 3:16 ESV
