But the fruit of the Spirit is faith.
This one seemed to be straightforward to me but as I looked at it so, I do not lie to you or lead you astray from the truth it is not like I thought.
From what I read and researched it talks about fidelity.
Fidelity according to dictionary.com means to be strict observance of promises, duties.
All that I read talks about being a man of his word, and promises, a trustworthy man.
That all men or women who call themselves Christians should keep their words and promises and be a person who can be trusted to say what he or she is going to do.
Be a man of integrity, came to mind. women are included in this too.
We need to do as we say we will do and the promises we make no matter the cost. we need love to be faithful and this is a heart issue.
We need to be Christian people who will uphold the things that we promise and say.
16 The one who has believed and has been baptized will be saved; but the one who has not believed will be condemned. Mark 16:16 NASB
10 not stealing, but showing all good faith so that they will adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in every respect. Titus 2:10 NASB
5 because I hear of your love and of the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints; Philemon 1:5 NASB
Where are the areas of faith that you do not follow through with?
Are you always faithful in what you say and do?
What places do you need to repent in the area of faithfulness?
God, I pray that you raise us up as people to be faithful
I pray that we would keep our word and promises
teach us to do that each and everyday
Keep our evil and the devil himself from keeping us from doing this
In Jesus' Name
Amen
