21 All those hearing him continued to be amazed, and were saying, “Is this not the one who in Jerusalem destroyed those who called on this name, and had come here for the purpose of bringing them bound before the chief priests?” Acts 9:21
How can someone who hated Jesus so much become a disciple of Jesus? This man called Saul persecuted the Christian who proclaimed Jesus. People were afraid of him.
I will tell you how. Saul had an encounter with Jesus and was converted. Acts 9:3 Now as he was traveling, it happened that he was approaching Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him;. Jesus came and met Saul where He was and changed Saul's life. If Jesus can Change Saul life like that, don't you think He can change the person in your life who is like Saul or who has a hardened heart. Indeed, Jesus can.
So don't lose heart when you pray for that person, Jesus Hears your prays. if Jesus can turn the heart a man like Saul he can do the same for the person you are praying for. What that looks like for the person you are praying for that may not be that same as what happened to Saul. but in Jesus name it will happen at the appointed time Jesus has set for that person. I proclaim that person your praying for, will proclaim in there heart will change and come and follow Jesus, in His timing.
I leave you with this this morning. My message is short but, what better way to end a message than with the bible.
1 Now Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest, 2 and asked for letters from him to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them in shackles to Jerusalem. 3 Now as he was traveling, it happened that he was approaching Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him; 4 and he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” 5 And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” And He said, “I am Jesus whom you are persecuting, 6 but get up and enter the city, and it will be told to you what you must do.” 7 The men who traveled with him stood speechless, hearing the voice but seeing no one. 8 Saul got up from the ground, and though his eyes were open, he could see nothing; and leading him by the hand, they brought him into Damascus. 9 And for three days he was without sight, and neither ate nor drank. Acts 9:1-9
