Missionary Discussion Wrap-up...

 Today's message is a wrap-up of the discussion we’ve been having on missionary/missions.

We are to have Matthew 28: 19-20 mindset. There are different types of missionaries, we talked about local, people who go to foreign countries, and then there us if the first two don’t apply. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Luke 16:15

We also talked about the dangers of being a missionary and what it means to be a martyr. For indeed, we are in danger of being accused of a riot in connection with today’s events, since there is no real reason for it, and in this connection we will be unable to account for this disorderly gathering.” acts 19:40. Then he fell on his knees and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” Having said this, he fell asleep. Acts 7:60. They will always hate us for our faith in Jesus Christ which I also talked about. I could keep going on about what I have talked about in the last day or so, but if you feel led reread what I have written on this subject.

It all boils down to this one thought and I’ve said it before we are to have a missionary mindset and each one of us is called to do this.

19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20. (Side note I never mention or talk about the middle of this verse because it is inaccurate, and this message is not about baptizing or baptism.)  

Support a missionary or become one yourself. But in some way remember we are all called to be missionaries.
