Joy the Lord has Made this Day!!!!!!

 This is the day which the Lord has made; Let’s rejoice and be glad in it. psalm 118:24

I was going to talk about joy this morning and I looked up this verse and am going to talk about Joy but in a different direction. Isaiah 51:11 “and the redeemed of the Lord will return and come to Zion with singing, crowned with unending joy. Joy and gladness will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee.”

Today is the day that the lord has made, we are to have joy in that. Just that God made the day, we are to rejoice and have joy in it. I believe it is to be unending joy that is talked about in Isaiah that we are to have. We are to joyfully up to the temple. In this day and age, we have no temple like the bible, we have a church and that is our temple. So, as we get ready for church on Sunday, which is tomorrow, we are to be joyous. 

Didn't you just talk about Today is the day lord has made and we are to be joyous in it. Yes, I did, and we are to be so joyous in the day that lord has made that it spills over to the next day and then you do it all over tomorrow so it them spills into the next day after that. that your joy is so much in each day that it spills over, and it cannot be contained by anything or by and one. I'm going to be bold and say that this joy that come about will too much for the devil and he will never want to touch or be around you.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Galatians 5:22. Galatians 5:22 talks about fruit and one of them is joy. so today is the day that lord has made let us be joyous in that so it can spill over to the next day. So, we can unending joy. I talked about joy before but not like this. Last message I talked about the joy of the Lord is our strength and such. but this joy and that joy can be put together and strengthen it even more I believe.

So, as I close today, I leave you with this phrase:

Be joyous today so it spills into tomorrow!!!!
