8 Thou didst put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he subjected all things unto him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we see not yet all things subjected to him. Hebrews 8:2. 11 For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. 33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you. All Bible verses taken from the ASV, NASB
We are to seek God for He has plans for us and then we will pray and seek Him and will find Him when we search with our whole hearts. we are to put everything we need under subjection to God, and if we do not it will be left out because we did not give it to God. Where does the last verse the one been using fit in?
Seek ye first His Kingdom is the part of the verse I want to look at to say that why do we not seek ye first the Kingdom in everything we do not just for the things that we talked about that were given/added/ provided. Why not seek the Kingdom in your finances, in your cooking, in your struggles, when you can go to the bathroom. I am talking about everything even in our walking, what would our lives be like if we did this?
Before you move you seek ye first His Kingdom. Before you go out seek ye first His Kingdom. Before work seek ye first His Kingdom. Before you use the bathroom seek ye first His Kingdom. Seek ye first His kingdom in everything that we would seek God first and then move.
Dear God,
I praise you and thank you
Let us seek ye first in everything we do and
let us not move until we do
Let us seek ye first when we don't feel like it or think we have it covered
Humble us so that we will seek ye first again
Gives us the burden to seek ye first in everything we do
You are the Alpha and Omega
The great I Am
I give you Jesus all the glory and honor
In Jesus name
Amen
