Praise the Same Part 3...

I made a challenge to you yesterday to through down the gauntlet and ask you to join me in flatlining our praise, so no matter what comes it will be the same praise today, yesterday, and forever. This praise we are to have is ours, not someone else's or for someone else to do in your place or better or more than you. Our praise is ours and ours alone. No one can take it from you unless you give it up. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. John 10:10 ESV.

The thief comes to take you off your praise and wants it to be garbage meaning he wants it not to be steady or flatlined as we have used, he wants it to sporadic and choppy. If we do those things, he still thinks he has a chance but I am here to tell you that he (the devil) lost and God has won and we need to act like we have victory. A pastor once said in a church service, don't pray for the victory from God but praise God for the victory you already have. In every circumstance, we will have victory. It may not look like we want but we will have victory.

This leads to praise and victory which if we know we will victory we should have the same praise all the time. God doesn't choose who to help or not to help, or which may be more deserving or not. He is the same to all people as it says in Hebrews 13:8 (ESV), which says, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Let's go deeper and look at Revelations 1:8 (ESV) which says, “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” This basically says the same thing as Hebrews 13:8 but goes deeper and says He is Alpha and the Omega and the Lord almighty. He is everything. If God is the same shouldn't our praise be the same and that is on fire 24/7 kind of praise.

I made a challenge yesterday and did I do as I asked you to on the first day? I wouldn't be here telling you I would be lying if I said yes. No, I did not I let my circumstances get the better of me. I tell you this, not to say I broke the challenge or something but to let you know this isn't something that is easy, that I am not some perfect human because I write this blog and know things. The things I write out are just as much for me as they are for you. I struggle just like the rest of the Christians in the world. I am not perfect, No one is except Jesus is perfect. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:32.

We need to do as it says in Philippians 3:14 (ESV) which says, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. We need to keep on keeping on towards the prize which is Christ Jesus. The more we press on in our praise like we should it will become easier, and we will do instead of doing something else.

Continues tomorrow....
