Goodness of God!!!

Yesterday I shared a Goodness of God playlist. I said yesterday that I cannot get enough of this song, which is true. I got to think right off to think that we have the Goodness of God and don't even have to dig deep to know that.  But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 ESV. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 ESV. If we think of the goodness of God and do not see it by this, then what more proof do we need. A crown of thorns was the first thing they did to Him as they took his clothes and played a game for them as they mocked Jesus throughout the whole timeline. Nails were pounded into Jesus' hands to put Him up on that cross.  God Let His son be beaten till he was no longer recognizable, and then left to die on the cross which He died on.

And to further the goodness of God is that He didn't stay on that cross, he died and rose again. Yes, Jesus beat death, He ascended to heaven. “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” 1 Corinthians 15:55 ESV. Jesus had the victory over death and because of that, there was no sting.

Who would be good enough to do something like that for you today? Jesus did the ultimate good thing and He died for our sins and gave us a new slate that is clean from past sins. Right, there is another goodness of God reminder.

We don't need to break a sweat to be reminded of the goodness of God and we don't need to do too much research in the Bible to know this either.

We need to look to the Cross to see the Goodness of God and then think of all that He did to get there and then beat the death to know further that He is good.

Take time today to know the Goodness of God and see that in all things.

17 Jesus saith to her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended unto the Father: but go unto my brethren, and say to them, I ascend unto my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.  John 20:17 ASV.
