To combat the wolves in sheep's clothing we need to know and start with that we are made in the image of God. Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Genesis 1:26 ESV. Yes, even the wolves have been made that way true, but you know will know that by the three things we talked about to know they are wolves in sheep's clothing.
We need to live up to that God made us in His image and live like we are. Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 ESV. We need to be one approved to present ourselves to God, as if we are made to do the work of the Lord and in His image. Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Psalm 100:3 ESV. We need to know that we are made in His image, and we are His sheep, we need to not only remind ourselves of that but the devil as well. We are of God, and we are made in His image.
Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows. Luke 12:7 ESV. God made us perfect because we are made in His image, He even numbered the hairs on our heads. If God put that much detail into how we were made, then we ought to live and look like He did.
Today take time to combat the wolves in sheep's clothing by remembering you are a chosen people because you were wonderful and beautifully made in the image of God. God made you!!!
