The Bible: Against the Bible and Prayer...

So, yesterday we look at what the Bible says about knowing and recognizing wolves in sheep's clothing. We looked at verse 16 in Matthew which talked about, we will know them by their fruits. The second way we will know them as wolves in sheep's clothing, does it stack up to what the Bible says verse what they say. Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1 ESV. This verse talks about spirits and testing them from God but we can take that and apply it to the word and anything that can come from God. The Bible is clear that we are not to test God and I am I not saying that but to test it again what God says. For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 ESV. God's word is clear concerning all things.

So, if by what you test against the Bible and What God says, you see that sheep is a wolf, you can confirm it with prayer. The Bible is clear on all subjects from the lust of the flesh to abortion but sometimes we need to pray for that wisdom to be revealed to us. That is the third thing and that is to seek God in prayer and listen for an answer on the discernment of the wolves in sheep's clothing. God will give you discernment in this if you earnestly seek Him. Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you. James 4:8 ASV. Prayer never is a bad thing, the best thing you can do is pray for clarity in any circumstance. And believe me, I have seen that God will answer your prayers, not always in your timing though. 

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2 ESV. So, by testing the word of God against the wolves' teaching and praying about it you will discern the will of God to what is good and acceptable and perfect to God.

So, to find out If they are wolves in sheep's clothing you can look at their fruits then you can test it against what the Bible says and then you can pray about it.
