Seek Ye First: last explained...

When I pray and worship God in the morning, I say the part of the verse in Matthew that says seek ye first the (His) Kingdom, Then I say, all will be added it will be given. it will be taken care of. the last two statements are because other bibles say, given and the other is because I know if I seek first the kingdom it will be taken care of. No matter what happens God will take care of us in every circumstance if we first seek ye the kingdom.

I try and say that statement when I first get up, but not always do I do it first sometimes I get up and then do it. My goal is to seek God first by doing things. if we are to have the other things God has for us, we need to first seek the kingdom and that is what I am trying to do when I wake up. As the verses say in Matthew 22:21, They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s. so just as the verse says we are to give God the things that are God's and that for me is seeking him first when I wake up and this isn't something I came up with but from what the word of the bible says I do this, how I do this. The verse says in Matthew 6:33 the one we have been using for this series says, but seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

For this that I do, I do not do It perfectly I said but am going to keep doing it until the day that I die. We are to seek God. Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live; and so Jehovah, the God of hosts, will be with you, as ye say. Amos 5:14. We are to seek good and that Good is Jesus, He is the God of hosts, He is Jehovah. And I will wait for the Lord who is hiding His face from the house of Jacob; I will wait eagerly for Him. Isaiah 8:17. We are to eagerly wait to seek Jesus, to wait upon the lord. But even though God knows all things we still want to seek Him first so he can do the things and be with us for things he has promised. I do not seek God for anything before I see Him First.

Every morning I get up and do my bathroom routine then I make coffee and then I seek God and then I read the word, blog, then worship and prayer. I am one who is old out for Jesus, and I still have unbelief or doubt sometimes but I keep seeking Jesus and His Kingdom. No matter what my flesh says or what my thought is I will keep seeking Jesus because of this verses and because this is what it looks like for me to seek his kingdom first. There are things I do not understand, and I still keep seeking Jesus. No matter what I will keep seeking Jesus and put that first for everything else will fall into place if I do so. It does not mean that everything will go smoothly or go right or nothing bad will happen, it just means through it all God will be with me through it all.

I started doing all this at the start of this year and do not say all this to boast about what I do. but to show you how I seek ye the kingdom first as an example. And yes, this is not the end of what I will do or may make adjustments to always seek Jesus and His Kingdom. Have a blessed day!!! Tomorrow we will talk about what it looks like for you to live out these verse.
