Seek Ye First: Going Deeper then...

Food and drink and such are minor things compared to the things and blessings God has for us. The story yesterday explained because the man who had killed himself did not seek God and think that God was for him, God could not give him all the blessings He had for him. So, instead of seeking the one, he knew could give him all the blessings that were stored up for him, he killed himself because he thought God was not for him.

God cannot give all that he has for us if we are not first seeking Him and His Kingdom, so the minor things, I said in the first sentence today will be added. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:19. If we are to have things like peter did in verse 19, we need to first seek ye the Kingdom of God. Seek the Lord, All you humble of the earth Who have practiced His ordinances; seek righteousness, seek humility. Perhaps you will remain hidden On the day of the Lords anger. Zephaniah 2:3. look again we are to seek the Lord, but it does not say first. even though it says kingdom in the verses we are talking about the Kingdom being the Lords so, we should seek the Lord in his kingdom as well.

This idea culminates to one thing, we are to seek the way of the Lord (His Kingdom) first and it will be added what we need so that we can get more of the things God wants us to know and have not just the minor things. God wants to give us more than just water and food and clothing and shelter. He has a box full of blessings for us in heaven and He is waiting for us to seek him first so He can give us those blessings.

When I pray and worship God in the morning, I say the part of the verse in Matthew that says seek ye first the (His) Kingdom, Then I say, all will be added it will be given. it will be taken care of. the last two statements are because other bibles say, given and the other is because I know if I seek first the kingdom it will be taken care of. No matter what happens God will take care of us in every circumstance if we first seek ye the kingdom.

But what does that look like, how do we live that out. I will explain the last paragraph more in depth and what it looks like and how to live it out tomorrow. Have a blessed day!!!!
