Social Jesus- Saturate

Yesterday I talked about negative stuff on social media and then went to talk about being mindful of the time you are on social media. Today I want to talk about saturation of Christ on social media. There is so much hate and negative stuff out there, why do we as Christians have to participate and engage in doing it ourselves. We love a juicy story or gossip about someone famous or in general.  Instead of things like that why do we not as Christians saturate social media with Godly things that draw us closer to Jesus. Blessed are those who comply with His testimonies, And seek Him with all their heart. Psalms 119:2. If we rose up as Christian and saturated social media would it not look different. Would it not lead more people to Jesus and His Kingdom? I have asked this question in other forms for other things but if I were to open your social media accounts would I be able to tell that you are a Christian or not?

How do you expect to worship Jesus if all your accounts are not of Jesus or seeking Jesus? How do you expect to reach people if all you look at his stuff that will not bring people to Jesus? This site is all about Glorifying the name of Jesus, but shouldn't we all be glorifying the name of Jesus, not just this site. I know that Jesus and his kingdom is not popular these days because the message is of hate and repent or you will go to hell. Jesus hates the sinner, Jesus hates the wicked, and Jesus hates the LGBTQ community. I sit here and tell you that none of that matters to me because I know that Jesus is a God of love and all they hear is about the hate and not the love He gives us and the Help he has and gifts he has for us. So, if by posting about Jesus and His kingdom pisses people, let them get pissed off because I will never stop proclaiming Jesus and His kingdom. I think if they are pissed off at what I am posting at least they are reading what I wrote and that is an opportunity to bring them to Christ or have Jesus bring them. I say all this to tell you that you too should not think if you will piss someone off for your faith and you will, but stay strong and proclaim His kingdom and if something comes up, Jesus will be with you every step of the way. 

On social media instead of furthering the devil let's further the kingdom of Jesus. let's drown out the negative stuff and saturate our social media with holy things that bring people up and not down. 

Jesus was going about in all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people. Matthew 4:23.

But he went out and began to proclaim it freely and to spread the news around, to such an extent that Jesus could no longer publicly enter a city, but stayed out in unpopulated areas; and they were coming to Him from everywhere. mark 1:45.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed, Luke 4:18 

These are just a few verses about proclaiming and there are more. We need to just as the verses say and that is to proclaim the good news to everyone we know and will know. We need to saturate the things which people can see on our social media accounts, so it mimics Jesus and His kingdom. So go forth and do just that today seek things of Jesus today and make changes if you have to.
