Eyes, See, Watch Part 3...

 8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is [a]lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8 NASB

These are things that we are supposed to think about. They being Hollywood try to feed us what they think we need to think about. They shove all types of evil in our faces and say it's just a movie, not real life. They shove all types of evil and say this is your desire. They are right if people didn't go to see movies like American Pie or Cocaine Bear, they wouldn't make them. Hollywood is out to make money plan and simply if there was no money, they wouldn't be doing what they do.

So, they make that which will make money, and movies like the omen, the bogeyman, and chucky are just evil. Plain and simple these movies are not of God, not from God but from the great deceiver.  

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:10 NASB.

The great deceiver being satan only comes to lead you far from God because that is what he does. So, these kinds of movies are made, why because in our hearts we want to see them and Hollywood knows this. We have a choice to appease the flesh or appease the spirit? We tend to appease the flesh but as the verse I share next says otherwise what we are to do. 

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 ESV.

We are to walk in the spirit and by this, we will not need to satisfy the flesh.

Another look at movies worldly and movies godly:

The omen made $4,273,886 on its opening weekend.

The Bogeyman made $12,356,486 on Its opening weekend.

Chucky made $6,583,963 on its opening weekend.

Second Chance made 463,524 this much money to date.

Fireproof made 33,437,297 this much money to date.

The Passion of the Christ made $622,313,635 this much money to date.

Like yesterday do you see the difference in money. The movies that are not of God or leading to God made more over time and in some cases made more on opening day than in some Christian films made all time.
