Changes

 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, and for ever. Hebrews 13:8 NASB

As a whole God/Jesus Does not change.

For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 NASB

God is not dead!!!

He is living and His word is too as the verse says.

God does change and we are unwilling to change sometimes.

We go about our daily Christian lives like a factory machine doing the same thing over and over again never changing. A machine in a factory needs someone to change what it does to do something different. Unlike the machine in a factory, we can change without someone (not talking about God but man). We stand in the way of change for ourselves.

We go to church one way and God decides to change that but we don't want it to change.

We do a devotion in the morning and God decides to change that but we don't want it to change.

we pray one way, but God wants us to pray another way and we like the way we already pray.

We love to worship one way and God comes and says worship me this way and we like the way we were worshiping.

That my friends is called compliance and is a lie of the devil. The devil wants us to be compliant because in that he is comfortable because we are in God.

We need to be open and compliant in our walk with God.

 23 and that you are to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and to put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth. Ephesians 4:23-24 NASB

We need a renewed mind to be open to God. If we are to be like Him we need to be open to change.

Let God move and don't be compliant today!!!

God, I expel every lie of the devil about being complaint 

I proclaim and declare in Jesus we would be open to change

I pray for a renewed mind, one that is in your likeness

I pray you help us to change when You change or want us to change

I pray for protection surrounding this and that the devil would have to flee

God, I thank you for the Victory in this area
