And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” Exodus 3:14. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Revelations 22:13. God is in wholeness; He is the I AM, He is one. He has many names but He is one person and in all things he created them.
Throughout history, like I talked about Greeks, other cultures have more than one God that they pray, worship, and seek. another example of this is the culture of China and the gods that they have to worship, pray and seek. Jade Emperor deity ruling the universe of taoism or the god of death Yan Wang. They have many Gods doing various things and each deserves their offerings and reverence. But our God is all those things that those other gods do but in one form (maybe not the same thing specifically but in some form). I keep talking about this and giving you examples so you can understand and see that God is one in wholeness. That is mind-blowing to me, that other cultures have to have many gods to do the same, as our God can do as one in wholeness.
With all the things that have been presented to you, how can you not worship God for his wholeness? I do not need many gods but one God who is the I Am and can do all things in Him. but tend to part out God as if He was a car. I may have mentioned this before but I wanted to go over it again and let it sink in your spirit. God is many facets of Himself but is still one. like a car needs all the parts to run, the facets of God do not make him run but make up His wholeness.
Think of it this way, in the game of Jenga, all the blocks make up the tower but if you take one away it is not as stable. God is the tower of Jenga and with all the blocks lined upright, God is whole but if one of the blocks is moved or taken away He is no longer whole. We pray and seek God in circumstances as one part of him, not as a whole. God, you are the God of Miracles or the God of healing and he is those things but he is still whole. I think we sometimes forget to pray or seek God as a whole. We want just that part of Him because that is all we are willing to let Him into our lives. Because if we let the wholeness of God into our lives, we have to Let all of Him into our lives and many don't want that. God just deal with this one area nothing else, so you part out God.
But God is whole and not a parted God or gods that make up our faith In Jesus Christ. He is in one form and through all things He is God. Just like the verse says that I started with I am the beginning and the end. God in wholeness is everything to us and we should treat him as such not some parted God or gods but seek His wholeness.
This doesn't mean that we cannot call out the names of Jesus when we pray and seek God in those names but if that is all we do then that is not a correct way of thinking and can lead us on a path to part out God and to keep each part separate so as not to have God in our lives as a whole. This will lead us to confusion and lead us to our ultimate destruction. So, seek God as a whole as part of the wholeness of worship and reverence to God as you pray and seek him.
