39 And standing over her, He rebuked the fever, and it left her; and she immediately got up and served them. 40 Now while the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He was laying His hands on each one of them and healing them. 41 Demons also were coming out of many, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” And yet He was rebuking them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that He was the Christ. Luke 4:39-41

The Whole of God...
Jesus traveled all through Galilee teaching in the Jewish synagogues, everywhere preaching the Good News about the Kingdom of Heaven. And He healed every kind of sickness and disease. Matthew 4:23 One of the Names that we hear a lot is God is great healer or the great physician, these are one and the same. God does not take out a part of Him and become both of those names, He is those names.
I often catch myself lately praying to God in one part such as the names above and only leaving it there. And immediately Jesus, perceiving in Himself that power from Him had gone out, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My garments? Mark 5:30. The verse does not say that a part of His power left, but I believe as a whole his power left. Even when we seek the great physician, we need to seek God as a whole.
Soon some men brought Him a paralyzed boy on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the sick boy, 'Cheer up, son! For I have forgiven your sins! Matthew 9:2
Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness. Matthew 9:35
The New Testament is riddled with healing, Jesus performed miraculous healing for example saying to them get up and walk and they walked because their sins were forgiven. But if by this he was only the great physician he could not do this. If that was the case, physicians all over the world could do the same thing. God needed to be whole to perform these miracles. We have the same power in us as well because if we accept God into our lives we have the power but only if we accept God in whole I believe will we have the power.
I've given examples today of how God is the great physician and that is one facet of God. But if not as a whole he would not be the great physician, he would be a mere physician. He is God because he is whole.
As I did today, I will continue to look at the Facets (names) of Jesus and how they are whole with God.
But to end today as much as I know about God there are a billion things I do not know and understand about Him. So do not say that I am an authority on these things of God or anything pertaining to God. I am a humble servant of God, Glorifying the name Of Jesus.

Genesis 1:1
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1
Bible verse taken from the NASB
The Whole of God...
What is a God? What is our God? Simple questions and ones you wouldn't think about too often. The dictionary says, a God is one of several deities presiding over some portion of worldly affairs, especially male deity. An image of a deity: an idol, any deified person or object, a nebulous powerful force imagined to be responsible for one's fate. These are the main dictionary definition of what a God is. The dictionary has no clue what God is only what Gods are.
This is the message we have heard from him and announce to you: God is light and in him there is no darkness at all. 1 john 1:5
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
Every good thing given and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the light, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadows. James 1:17
Gracious is the Lord and righteous; Yes our God is compassionate. Psalms 116:5
God is all these things and much more. God in whole who is one created the heavens and the earth. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1 but the dictionary does get one thing right but only in part, God is one. The second part that says that God is several deities is the part that is wrong.
The world gets it wrong as well. People only know that God is of the brim and fire message or a God of hate, the God who gets mad all the time. My God is nothing of evil but of good and righteousness. My God Does not hate anyone but hates sin in people and the sin they commit. My God does not get mad but judges us and deals with us accordingly. My God when he needs to be brin and fire but not all time.
When people do not look at the whole picture, they cannot fully understand the whole picture. When people only see those parts of God that are those things. It doesn't surprise me that people think that is what God is. Because all that they see are parts, not whole. God is whole, He is one sitting on the throne in heaven.
That is why I think it is important to seek and worship God as a whole, as one. That way when the time comes to share your faith you will share the wholeness of God not just parts. So, when the enemy comes we have the whole of God fighting for us not just parts that if we are seeking will not win the battle only God as a whole can win the battle.
Tomorrow I will look at Some of the facets of God.

Revelations 22 :13
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Revelations 22:13
Bible verse taken from the NASB
The Whole of God...
And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” Exodus 3:14. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Revelations 22:13. God is in wholeness; He is the I AM, He is one. He has many names but He is one person and in all things he created them.
Throughout history, like I talked about Greeks, other cultures have more than one God that they pray, worship, and seek. another example of this is the culture of China and the gods that they have to worship, pray and seek. Jade Emperor deity ruling the universe of taoism or the god of death Yan Wang. They have many Gods doing various things and each deserves their offerings and reverence. But our God is all those things that those other gods do but in one form (maybe not the same thing specifically but in some form). I keep talking about this and giving you examples so you can understand and see that God is one in wholeness. That is mind-blowing to me, that other cultures have to have many gods to do the same, as our God can do as one in wholeness.
With all the things that have been presented to you, how can you not worship God for his wholeness? I do not need many gods but one God who is the I Am and can do all things in Him. but tend to part out God as if He was a car. I may have mentioned this before but I wanted to go over it again and let it sink in your spirit. God is many facets of Himself but is still one. like a car needs all the parts to run, the facets of God do not make him run but make up His wholeness.
Think of it this way, in the game of Jenga, all the blocks make up the tower but if you take one away it is not as stable. God is the tower of Jenga and with all the blocks lined upright, God is whole but if one of the blocks is moved or taken away He is no longer whole. We pray and seek God in circumstances as one part of him, not as a whole. God, you are the God of Miracles or the God of healing and he is those things but he is still whole. I think we sometimes forget to pray or seek God as a whole. We want just that part of Him because that is all we are willing to let Him into our lives. Because if we let the wholeness of God into our lives, we have to Let all of Him into our lives and many don't want that. God just deal with this one area nothing else, so you part out God.
But God is whole and not a parted God or gods that make up our faith In Jesus Christ. He is in one form and through all things He is God. Just like the verse says that I started with I am the beginning and the end. God in wholeness is everything to us and we should treat him as such not some parted God or gods but seek His wholeness.
This doesn't mean that we cannot call out the names of Jesus when we pray and seek God in those names but if that is all we do then that is not a correct way of thinking and can lead us on a path to part out God and to keep each part separate so as not to have God in our lives as a whole. This will lead us to confusion and lead us to our ultimate destruction. So, seek God as a whole as part of the wholeness of worship and reverence to God as you pray and seek him.

Exodus 3:14
And God said to Moses, "AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel: ‘I AM has sent me to you." Exodus 3:14
Bible verse taken from the NASB
The Whole of God...
yet for us there is only one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him. 1 Corinthians 8:6. We have but one God and that God is Jesus Christ. There are many facets of Him, but he is one. you read about a God in the Old Testament who came down in clouds and flooded the earth and created kings in Israel, then you see a God in the New Testament who came in flesh to save us from our sins and preach the new around the world. The God of the bible is all one God, He created all things and in Him, all things exist.
I had a picture in my room at one time now it's in my current home in the living room that lists the names of God, Names like the vine, the holy one, the door, the bread of life, and many more. He is those things and more but in one form, He is whole not a parted God.
if you read in History the Greeks and other nations had God's plural, not just one. Asclepius the god of healing, Aeolus the god of wind and air, and Ares the god of war. We have a God who is the same, but He is just one God. They prayed and worshiped each God with different rituals and sacrifices. they had acts for each god. You shall not make other gods besides Me; gods of silver or gods of gold, you shall not make for yourselves. Exodus 20:23
but I sit here before you that there is only one God, and his name is Jesus Christ. He is a God with Many facets but is whole. The Greeks had Zeus the great and mighty, but we have one God mightier than any other God and He is one and in wholeness that we should seek and worship Him.
We often think that God is in part, that each part makes up the whole, but I am here to tell you that God is one and whole, not parts that make up something. We don't have to waste our time worshipping a god for each thing and take time to sacrifice to each god for the thing that we need or are seeking. We have one God and to worship and sacrifice only to him. God in whole was there before anything was created, he was and is the great I am. And God said to Moses, "AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel: ‘I AM has sent me to you." Exodus 3:14. The verses does not say that He is the I am's but he is the I am. He is one in wholeness.
I'm feeling led in the spirit to leave it there for today so the last verse and words to sink in.

The Whole Of God...
Today I kick-off a series called the whole of God. We often think of God as many parts, and we sometimes pray that way. My God has many names and wears many facets of himself, but God is one. He is sovereign and is in one form with many different facets of Himself.
We often seek God to be the God of healing or the God of blessings or the God of forgiveness. God be the God who helps me only in this area, not in any other area. We will praise and worship for that area you are to me. I am here to tell you that it does not work like that, if we want God to move or do something we have to worship him as a whole and not in parts. God is Sovereign and is whole. You cannot ask a friend to take part of himself and do something for you. Just like the example I just gave you cannot ask God to do the same. For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose of God. Acts 20:27. in this verse, it does not say that only part of the purpose was shared but the whole purpose was shared.
Today I want you to look at how you look at God and wipe everything you know about how you look at God and think of God. This message is short today so you can have time to do what I talked about in the last sentence
God I praise you and thank you
For you as a whole
You have many facets but you are whole
You are sovereign over all things
Because you created all things
In wholeness, I worship You and praise You.
In Jesus Name
Amen
God is so great that we cannot begin to know Him. No one can begin to understand eternity. Job 36:26.

Psalms 100:1-3
Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Serve the Lord with jubilation;
Come before Him with rejoicing.
3 Know that the Lord Himself is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Psalms 100:1-3

How to Glorify God When You Have Emotions?
for a man’s anger does not bring about the righteousness of God. James 1:20. As we close on the current series to make way for the next one that I start tomorrow, we have been talking about emotions and how to glorify God when we have them. When we have negative emotions, we need to get rid of them and then glorify God. Some of the negative emotions are double-sided and an example of this is anger, it is ok to get angry when something isn't right and it gives you the fire to correct it and that you glorify God by doing so. We are to have good emotions and God wants nothing more for us. So in the powerful name of Jesus, we are to pray and seek God.
God I pray right now that all negative emotions be taken away
put in us a right spirit of good things and not of bad things
help us to overcome all negative emotions and in your name
Let no negative, bad spirits or the devil himself
Keep us from the emotions God has for us
In Jesus Name
Amen
Nothing that comes from the devil is from God and negative emotions which do come and try to take us over are not from God and need to be put to death. you can put any negative emotion in the verse above and say that none of those will bring about God and His righteousness. So, as we close a chapter on this series take an emotion checklist and see what emotions you have, are they From God or are they from the evil one? It is one or the other, God does not give sadness or foolishness, or anger in certain circumstances. It does not mean that we are to be joyful and happy all the time, we can be seeking those things of God. I will leave it there to close the series so I can let that last sentence sink in.

A Side Note so Important it Get It's Own Post
If throughout my posting on this blog you have noticed that I never capitalize the name of the devil, I do this for a reason because he doesn't deserve that kind of recognition. I will always acknowledge there is a devil but will never give him reverence. The devil is not more important than God. So, I will never that I can recall giving recognition to the devil like that, I will only give that kind of recognition to God alone. The devil is not important at all but should be recognized just not in that way. You always capital people of importance and the devil is not important at all. Have a blessed day and trample on the devil for he is nothing and is worthless. God is the only worthy one. Amen
How to Glorify God When You Have Emotions?
18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written:“ I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the understanding of those who have understanding, I will confound.” Yesterday I was looking up verses about wisdom and I found this verse and it got me thinking. In reading the verse and thinking about it, I believe the verse is talking about people who are not in Christ. Verse 18 talks about the word of the cross as foolishness to those who are perishing.
I have been talking about seeking God's wisdom, but we should not strive to only seek God's wisdom but all of God. if we are only seeking wisdom and understanding like the verse says we will be destroyed and confounded. so we are to seek God's wisdom, not worldly wisdom. when we seek wisdom we are not to seek it too much as to become destroyed or confounded.
Can we have too much of God? As a whole we cannot have too much of God, but if we are seeking only one part such as wisdom we are not seeking God but only that one thing we are seeking such as wisdom. I will put it another way if you're seeking your wife's cooking only, are you seeking her as a whole or just in one part because of what you want and seek. We cannot seek only one part of God and think, we will get all of God. Seeking God's wisdom will only get us so far. We need to seek God as a whole.
We are to come to God humbly and say we do not seek just your wisdom but all of You. We are not to seek to be wiser than God than cannot be. throughout my message today I have said not and cannot a lot and that is to tell you that which you cannot do. but it Is more than that I want you to get this in your spirit you cannot seek one part of God such as wisdom but you have to seek God as a whole.
God I praise and thank you for being God
You are glorious and wonderful
There is no one like you
I pray today for seeking all of you not just one part of you
let me seek the wisdom you have for me
let me seek the blessing you have for me
let me seek the comfort you have for me
let me seek the changes you want to make in my life
Let me seek your will
Let me seek the joy you have for me
let me seek the discernment you have for me
Let me seek all that you have for me
Because you God in heaven
you are Alpha and Omega
the beginning and the end
I praise and thank you today for all that you have done in my life
In Jesus' Name, I praise and thank you
Amen
I believe in seeking God as a whole so much that this deserves its own series which will kick off Friday. Tomorrow I will wrap this series I been about emotions and glorifying God.

1 Corinthians 1:17-19
17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with cleverness of speech, so that the cross of Christ would not be made of no effect. 18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the understanding of those who have understanding, I will confound." 1 Corinthians 1:17-19

How to Glorify God When You Have Emotions?
Then I saw that wisdom surpasses foolishness as light surpasses darkness. Ecclesiastes 2:13. What happens when do not listen to God's wisdom or do God's wisdom. We become foolish when we do not listen to God or do what His wisdom says. wisdom builds on wisdom but not seeking builds to foolishness and foolishness builds to more foolishness. So, if we're in Wisdom we will keep building on that and if we are not in wisdom we will build only on foolishness.
The wise seek more wisdom but the foolish seek only more foolishness the wisdom I am talking about is God's wisdom not, worldly wisdom. When we come to Christ, we will not know it all, but we will have a higher level of wisdom than that of a non-believer. Not true at all, look at the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and see the believers of the day did not know God's wisdom and were not seeking it, they were seeking the law and foolish things. so just because you are a believer does not mean that you have the wisdom and are seeking it. To get the wisdom we need to be actively seeking God and His wisdom.
Do you think God will impart his Wisdom to someone who is actively seeking His wisdom or to someone who is foolish? if you answer the latter of that question, you are foolish and not seeking God's wisdom. So, if we are not seeking His wisdom, we will not get God's wisdom, we will get nothing right. Our minds have to be filled with something it cannot remain empty, so, instead of God's wisdom we will get worldly wisdom or things that are foolish, and it will only lead to bad things. This lead to all those negative emotions coming up and hurts us even worse than we were for just not seeking God's wisdom.
We cannot seek foolish things and not God's wisdom and glorify God with that foolishness, we need God's wisdom to glorify Him. a fool can lift up another fool. But a fool cannot lift up to a person who is wise because how does the fool know that that person is wise. so as I have said we need to actively seek God's wisdom to lift high the name of Jesus. A fool cannot lift up Jesus because God is the ultimate in wisdom and the fool cannot see that because he is foolish. When you seek foolishly you only see foolish. But when you seek wisdom you only see wisdom. For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18. so if we are not seeking God they will perish because they do not have the wisdom of God.
The Bible talks about the wise will become confounded and be destroyed I will discuss this tomorrow.
So, to end for today, we need to actively be seeking the wisdom that only comes from God and not from this world, for we do not want to become fools.

Bible Verses on Wisdom
Job 38:37
Who can count the clouds by wisdom, And pour out the water jars of the heavens,
Jeremiah 10:12
It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom; And by His understanding He has stretched out the heavens.
It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom, And by His understanding He stretched out the heavens.
Ephesians 3:10
so that the multifaceted wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.
How to Glorify God When You Have Emotions?
so that the multifaceted wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places. Ephesians 3:10. What is God's wisdom? I believe it is that which comes forth from God through Him talking to you and through His word. Only that which comes from God can be His wisdom. That doesn't mean that it can't come from someone else or from something else. God can use all things to impart Wisdom into our lives. Some examples are your pastor preaching or teaching, a good friend speaking to you, a song, a sermon you're listening to, or a music video, God can use anything to minister wisdom into your life.
So, God's wisdom is not just from Him directly but can come from anything. but we need to be careful how much we read into and seek God's wisdom in other things besides the Bible and him talking to you directly. I suggest you use the vetting method. the vetting method is you seeing where the wisdom is coming from and is it creditable. Just because it comes from a good friend doesn't always mean it is God's wisdom. We have to have great discernment but if you get wisdom from what you think is God and our not sure the best thing to do is to pray and ask God if that wisdom is from him.
God's wisdom will be clear and not clouded so you will know when it is His wisdom. the Bible is clear and so is his wisdom that it has and so are the words that he talks about to you directly in conversation. What He is saying may not make sense at the time or he may not tell you the whole wisdom but kept in prayer and worship and he will make it all known to you in His timing, not ours. We want all wisdom now but that would overload our brains and it would turn to mush. we will get the wisdom we need From God when we need it. God will make know the things you need to know it when you need to know it.
So, to be clear God's wisdom only comes from Him and Him alone, no one else can say that this wisdom is God unless it is from Him. His Wisdom Comes from heaven through Him directly, the bible or someone or something else. The Lord founded the earth by wisdom, He established the heavens by understanding. Proverbs 3:19. The God in heaven having all wisdom used it to create the world and to create us so that we might seek Him and all His wisdom.
But to those who do not know God or have not experienced Him, they do not know God's wisdom and it is clouded in their midst. you must accept God into your life and become a follower of Jesus to have the wisdom from God be known to us. In my spirit, I thought I needed to point that out.
What happens when we don't seek and do the wisdom God has for us? find out tomorrow...

How to Glorify God When You Have Emotion?
How to glorify God when You have emotion? I've been talking about bad language, our speech and such now I am going to move on to wisdom and wisdom is not an emotion but if you do not have the wisdom or not seeking wisdom, you can create negative emotions that I have talked about in your life.
Colossians 2:8 says, Don't let others spoil your faith and joy with their philosophies, their wrong and shallow answers built on men's thoughts and ideas, instead of on what Christ has said. So to start off with, the wisdom we are to seek and have is wisdom from Jesus. We are not to seek the things of men and the world.
I want you today to take an assessment of where your wisdom comes from, for some it comes from TV, some from a book, some from the internet, or social media, it can be from anything you put stock into. I want you to write out where your wisdom comes from and if not of God, burn the piece of paper. As; we start talking about wisdom, get rid of all the old ways you were seeking wisdom and seek only the wisdom from God. James 1:5 says, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We are to ask and seek God for His wisdom. So take time today and take the assessment so you can prepare for the rest of the messages on this topic in the bigger series called, How to glorify God when you have emotion?
I thank and praise God this morning for the ability to write this blog for the glorification of Jesus Christ

Matthew 12:34-35
How can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. Matthew 12:34-35

How to Glorify God When You Have Emotion?
I've been on this speech and bag language discussion as part of the series of How to glorify God when You have emotion for a few days now. I've been on this subject as part of the series because in my spirit that this one is so important that we do not speak bad and spew out things we regret later. He who guards his lips guards his life, but he who speaks rashly will come to ruin proverbs 13:3. We have the ability in one sentence to lift people up or tear them down example of this is Jesus. AS the bible verse says we either guard our lips or we will come to ruin. we can glorify Jesus with our speech or tear Him down by what we say. So, if we guard our lips and raise up Jesus, we will have blessings but if we don't, we will have ruin.
Just as I used that example of Jesus. let's use it for anyone you encounter in your life instead if someone cuts you off and you start to swear or tell them off in your car windows up, why not use that as a moment to change the way you speak and instead pray for them or lift them up. Another example is when you are at the store, and they give you bad service instead of grumbling under your breath and telling them off, you pray and thank God for them. In any moment you feel bad speech comes nearing or may be used instead vanish it with prayer and holy speech lifting people up and by doing this we, in turn, lift up Jesus us in the process.
Why do we not use our speech to lift up things of Heaven than of Earth? Why do we not get rid of all speech that is unholy from our lips why do we not eradicate all speech that is of the devil and his evil ways? Why do we not use the mouthpiece we have been given as a mouthpiece that resembles Jesus and His speech. How can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him Matthew 12:34-35. why not let's store the good things so that they will overflow from our lips instead of storing up things that of evil so, that those things will not come out of our lips.
Let's be the Mouthpiece of Jesus and His glory!!!!
Jesus, I thank you
Give the wisdom to have the mouthpiece that comes from you
and not of the devil and his ways
Let everything that comes from my mouth be of You Jesus
In Jesus Name
Amen

James 1:19
You know this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Now everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; James 1:19
Bible verse taken from the NASB
How to Glorify God When You Have Emotion?
You know this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Now everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; James 1:9. How to glorify God when You have emotion?
So, we are to be quick to hear and slow to speak, let that sink in. When something is said we are to quickly hear it and then we are to be slow to respond. But this world wants everything instantly. People want an answer instantly, like right now but that in most cases is not the best way to go. If someone asks how you are doing and you respond good right away that is kind of a no-brainer that you can answer quickly. But if someone asks about let's say divorce and what they should do? We probably have an answer as well all do. but in this and instances/situations we should be quick to listen but slow to respond.
Why do we do this, speak quickly? we often speak quickly because we often think we know it all and if we don't, we can just come up with something that will help, or we heard something and think it will help. Most often that kind of thinking only does harm verse you think it will do good.
The best thing we can do sometimes is wait and speak slowly, give it to God in prayer and seek his answer instead of inserting our own. we often muck things up because we tend to speak quickly when we are not ready to answer, or our answer is not right but you said it anyway. I tend to want to quickly respond. when I do this, I tend not to think it through, and usually gets me in trouble.
today as to what you have read today I want to do something different before I finish today. everyone take time to examine if you are slow to speak or quick to speak and if you are quick to speak find ways and seek God's counsel to help you curb this negative thing. this type of speech leads to negative emotions which are of the devil and are not good to have in our lives.
So how do we worship when we do this? Pray and ask God to help you in this battle because remember the battle belongs to the Lord but that doesn't we sit back and do nothing, we have to worship and ask God to help us, we each have a part in this.
Dear God
I thank you and praise you
for you are good
please help to be quick to listen and to be slow to respond
Help my tongue only have the wisdom that comes from You
In all things you are glorious and wonderful
In Jesus Name
Amen

Matthew 15:10-12
10 After Jesus called the crowd to Him, He said to them, “Hear and understand! 11 It is not what enters the mouth that defiles the person, but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles the person.” 12 Then the disciples came and *said to Him, “Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this statement?” Matthew 15:10-12

How to Glorify God When You Have Emotion?
How to glorify God when You have emotion? You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, express any good things? For the mouth speaks from that which fills the heart. The good person brings out of his good treasure good things; and the evil person brings out of his evil treasure evil things. Matthew 12: 34,35. Today I'm going to pivot from that of bad language to what you speak in your walk with Christ.
So whatever is in your heart that is what will come out of your mouth. Matthew 15:11 says, It is not what enters the mouth that defiles the person, but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles the person. So, what comes into us is not what can create problems but what comes out of us that creates problems. This can create emotions that are unholy and not of God and that is because we are anxious about what we said or said stuff and turned to anger, or stressed us for saying something.
no matter what it was, our language can be that of lifting up the Lord or be used to lift up evil. We get to choose, God does not direct our lips like a puppet. I would rather use my lips to uplift Jesus than lift up evil. What we say matters and can hurt others. So what we say can as the verse says, it can be for good or for evil. I believe in my soul that there is no grey area in this matter, it is either good or evil not in the middle. we have to choose which way we will use our language whether it will be for good or for evil.
Think about it you have the power with one phrase to lift someone up, in this case let's say Jesus, or bring him down and speak evil of Him.
Dear God, I praise and thank you
help me to speak that which only comes from you
let no bad language, no unholy words no nothing of evil comes from My lips today
please help me protect my lips so that only good comes from these lifts
you are glorious and wonderful
and thank you and praise you
In Jesus name
Amen

Colossians 3: 5-11
5 Therefore, treat the parts of your earthly body as dead to sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry. 6 For it is because of these things that the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, 7 and in them you also once walked, when you were living in them. 8 But now you also, rid yourselves of all of them: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene speech from your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, since you stripped off the old self with its evil practices, 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created it— 11 a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, and free, but Christ is all, and in all. Colossians 3:5-11

How to Glorify God When You Have Emotion?
How to glorify God when You have emotion? Today's message isn't so much about an emotion but it deals with emotions and that is bad language or unholy language. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.” So, to start off with we are not to have filthy (bad) language. But I can tell you that if every time I had a bad language I paid a dollar I would be a millionaire right now as I think most people would be the same. To be bold I will say if anyone tells you they never swore or anything like that, they are lying and not to be trusted. When thinking of this we need to be honest with ourselves and admit they we have to pray to God for forgiveness and move on.
That kind of language that is unholy will not go away but we can control when it comes out or that it comes out at all. One who guards his mouth protects his life; One who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. Proverbs 13:3. We have to guard what we say but how do I do that when I just stubbed my toe and swore because of the pain. Nothing in this world is easy and it isn't easier when you are in Christ in some ways it's harder to be a Christian than to be a worldly person. language for anyone is hard to deal with we all stay stuff we wish we hadn't in terms of bad language. when we have bad language it stirs up emotions like guilt, anger, stress, and anxiety. we feel these emotions because of the bad language we used.
I've seen so many times bad language getting people in trouble. Where does this bad language come from it comes from the evil one, a place of negativity, a place of bad? remember there are negative emotions and this not be an emotion still falls into this category. it is not good things and God wants only good things for us. so we need to call it out and call I for what it is and it is bad language.
God I praise you and thank you
God My language is not good
Help me to overcome this bad language
Help me to have only holy language
Language that builds people up and not swearing or cursing people
Nothing is impossible for you
so I give you thanks and praise in this area I am not praying for a victory but praising you for the victory I will already have in this area
In Jesus Name
Amen
I will continue this discussion on language tomorrow. This is good stuff and you're getting it for free imagine if you had to pay for this.

How to Glorify God When You Have Emotion?
How to glorify God when You have emotion? Why do we not fear God? We do not fear God because we often think we got this and try to do it ourselves. Gold help only on this one thing, not the others, we only in part submission. in order to fear God, we are to be in total submission and in total reverence to God. that is how we are to have fear in the Lord. The answer is simple on how we are to do this but as I said it is us that tend to muck it and not get the result we want. So, I will say the answer again, we need to be in total submission and total reverence to God. if we are not then we will never have the fear of God.
12 “And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, 13 and to keep the Lord’s commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good? Deuteronomy 10:12-1 God requires us to have this kind of fear. So, let's align with God and do the things we need to do so we can have this kind of fear. It is not something that can wait or something to be put on the back burner, we need to do this now. we need the fear of the lord and we need it today.
God, I pray right now that you help us to align with You
let us get out of the way of what you need to do
so that we can become in total submission to you and
that we give you total reverence
so that we may have the fear of the lord in us.
you are beginning and the end
and in all things, you created the heavens and the earth
I thank you and praise you for all things
in Jesus Name
Amen

Leviticus 25:16-18
16 In proportion to a greater number of years you shall increase its price, and in proportion to fewer years you shall decrease its price, because it is the number of crops that he is selling to you. 17 So you shall not wrong one another, but you shall fear your God; for I am the Lord your God. 18‘You shall therefore follow My statutes and keep My judgments so as to carry them out, so that you may live securely on the land. How to Glorify God When You Have Emotion?
“And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the Lord’s commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good? Deuteronomy 10: 12-13. How to glorify God when You have emotion?
Today we are continuing of discussion of fear. So yesterday as I closed, I asked a question are we to fear anything and I mean anything? Yes, our answer is found in Deuteronomy our God requires us to fear Him. We are to fear the Lord and nothing else. So, we are to be afraid of God. I said that to make tell you that there is a difference between fearing God and being afraid of Him. We are not to be afraid of God meaning when we need to come to Him, we are not afraid to do so or when we pray or worship Him, we are not to be afraid to do so. The fear that I am talking about is the fear of reverence not of being afraid.
Let's talk about this fear we are to have further. The kind of fear that I am talking about is found throughout the bible. this commandment does not come from me but comes from the Lord our God. this kind of fear as I said is a fear of reverence which means we are to revere God and not take His commandments lightly, we are to fear what will happen if we don't keep the things which God has commanded us. an example of this is Leviticus 25:17 and it says, So you shall not wrong one another, but you shall fear your God; for I am the Lord your God. We are not to do wrong against anyone but to fear God I believe to go further if we do God will deal with us justly. It does not say that but we can imply from reading the text.
I haven't said it yet so I will say it now that we are to be in reverence for everything God has for us even when we don't agree or believe it to be true. we are to be in total reverence to God each and every day, for is our creator and is our Father in Heaven sitting on His throne. That is mind-blowing that we are to be this way. I leave it there for today so can let that sink in. Tomorrow I will talk about why we do not do this.
