Uncommon books!!!

The other night I was thinking of what to talk about next and it came to me, through an idea that God had given me, why Chronicles. The idea is the uncommon books of the Bible and why they are in the Bible. We all know the story of David, the book of Matthew, and Psalms. But do we know the story of Ezra, Amos, or Zephaniah? Have you ever heard Nahum, Amos, Joel, or Micah in a sermon? Most of the time we hear the most popular book of the bible used in church!

I am reading through the entire Bible, that is my goal. This got me to think of all the Bible that gets ignored. 1 The word of Jehovah that came to Joel the son of Pethuel. Joel 1 ASV. The Bible is made up of 66 Books, 39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 ASV. The word was with God and was God, not just part of the word but the whole word that is the Bible.

Throughout this series, we will look at the uncommon books of the Bible. We will see why they are part of the bible and why they are just as important as the 4 Gospels. It's all in the Bible for a reason and I want to know why. I always want to you know one thing: that the things I talk about are from God but are not just for you but for me as well. I need this stuff as much as you do. The first uncommon book we will look at is Chronicles 1 & 2. Then where God takes Us, I have no clue but will rely on Him to lead me.

To finish for today I challenge you to do one thing: use and read the uncommon books of the bible!
