171 My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes. Psalm 119:171 KJV.
15 Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. Hebrews 13:15 ESV.
Let the praise of God be on our lips. Let this praise be continual as to bless God at all times!
My pray this morning is for a revival that people would turn from seeking blessings to Just blessing God
We all want a better car, a nice boat, or a big house but what if instead of seeking those things, we just blessed God! What would God do? Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 ESV. In this verse, it talks about This very thing about what God will do and that is to not fear, strengthen you, and help you. Matthew chapter six, a big portion of it talks about this very thing as well, do not worry about what you need help with because it will be given to you or added depending on the version. We just need to bless Him at all times.
My lips shall utter praise that is a blessing to God!!! We a generation who wants stuff, but we need to be a generation that wants to bless God for we know God will provide for those He calls to Himself and are sold out for Him.
To end today I will paint a picture for you. In Uganda, they live next to nothing, (Sometimes no toilets, running water, kitchen to cook in, or a roof that is good over their head to name a few) and they go to church and praise God for it. They are not worried about where things will come from, they know that God will provide so instead they bless God.
