Walk Across the Aisle: Battle

The devil does not want us to walk across the aisle to bring people to Christ and he will do everything he can not to let that happen. We then have our flesh to deal with and worldly desires. On top of that, we have fear, anxiety, doubt, and the feeling I'm not good enough to do this, or I cannot do this, that's not me. If everything was easy, would we still do it? All those things can be put into perspective by this one verse. These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. john 16:33. We need to know that we will have these things but take of good cheer Jesus has overcome the world. we have to seek God and give them to Him. Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30.

But is it still that easy once you have given it to God and have done those things? I will tell you it will always be a battle to bring others to Christ. Whether it's our flesh or evil or fears these will never go away but we can put them into submission to the Lord and go forth and walk across the aisle and bring people to Christ. This will be a battle that you do not have to walk alone, you have to give it to God and let him battle for you, all you have to do is walk across the aisle.

If Jesus can die on the cross for us, we can walk across the aisle and bring people to Christ. if Jesus can heal the sick, we can walk across the aisle to bring people to Christ. If Jesus can overcome death, we can walk across the aisle and bring people to Christ. If the person we are supposed to model can do so, we can walk across the aisle and bring people to Christ.

So Go forth and walk across the aisle today and all those people you prayed for and start there because that is why you did it.

Have a blessed day!!!
