So, yesterday we look at foolishness and what its definition is. Today we will look at the difference between humor/laughter and foolishness. You can be humorous and not be a fool or foolish. you can laugh and not be foolish or a fool. When you are a fool, you can be dumb and stupid in the bible it mostly talks about a wicked or depraved man to that which is foolish. people often link humor/ laughter with being a fool. If you have ever seen those U-Tube videos of people doing stupid stuff, they might be funny, but they are fools for doing something stupid.
The main difference I have gathered is that a fool or foolishness says there is no God or want anything to do with God, but humorous/laughter can still believe in Jesus and His kingdom remember what the verse said the day before yesterday, it says, A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance; Ecclesiastes 3:4. Nowhere in this chapter does it talk about a time to be foolish or have foolishness. So, Jesus is saying that we can laugh and be humorous in His walk with Him and in His Kingdom. 6 Sarah said, “God has made laughter for me; everyone who hears will laugh with me.” I believe God made all good things and God made laughter just like the verse says. He made it for Sarah, but I believe he made for all of us.
if you don't think that made humor here is an example in the Bible 13 and you shall have a spade among your tools, and it shall be when you sit down outside, you shall dig with it and shall turn and cover up your excrement. 14 Since the Lord your God walks in the midst of your camp to save you and to defeat your enemies before you, your camp must be holy; so He must not see anything indecent among you or He will turn away from you. if God didn't create humor, he would not have created things like Isacc Improve to bring me to Christ or create Christian Comedians or make the stories one time at summer camp I did. I am not saying God is only of humor or laughter but is one that has use of those things to bring us Joy and fill our hearts with Joy.
So, to sum up, the difference for today foolishness that I am talking about is not from God and the humor/laughter is from God. Foolishness is not Godly and used at the right time Humor/laughter is Godly. Have a humorously Blessed Day!!!!
we will continue tomorrow...
