Paul, Our Lives Today!!!

What does Paul and what happened to him have to do with my life? Do we deserve the grace that Paul Got to be converted by Jesus? Do we deserve the grace Paul was talking about in the verses we read? So, much to cover in just those few questions. To sum up and answer all three questions we do not deserve anything that happened to Paul, the grace he was given, and the grace he talks about. We all fall short of the glory of God. No one is holy enough to be given the gift that Paul had or the graces he was given and talked about.

But by grace, we are forgiven. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Ephesians 1:7. We have redemption and forgiveness because of grace. Grace that can only come From Jesus and his kingdom. This Grace that Paul was given to be washed and cleansed to be a disciple of God is the same one we can have or did have to be a disciple of Jesus. The same things Paul was afforded are the same we can be afforded too. We are all like Paul in some way when we can into the Faith maybe not as bad, but we still have some quality of Paul in us. 

As I said there is much to cover in those few questions I asked in the beginning, and I could unpack all that those questions have and be here for hours and hours to tell you why we have this same grace that Paul had and was talking about and have the same things afforded to Paul. I will let the Bible speak for itself.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9. 

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly. Psalms 84:11

Let grace be shown to the wicked, Yet he will not learn righteousness; In the land of uprightness he will deal unjustly, And will not behold the majesty of the Lord. Isaiah 26:10

And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. John 1:16

But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved in the same manner as they.” Acts15:11

All these verses point to the fact we can have the same grace that Paul was given and talks about. We are given grace by Jesus so we can be holy and blameless before Him. We are afforded grace From Jesus because he loves us and we no longer have to resemble Saul, but we can resemble Paul and the grace that he talks about and all that he lived by and did.
