I am writing this series because of God and to share something that many people do not think is possible when coming or being in the Christian faith. If you remember the verse that I have used in this series Ecclesiastes 3:4 A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance. In Jesus, In His Kingdon, In His presence, there is a time to laugh and have humor. We as Christians are not stuck up, tightly wound, or sad all the time. But that is the way that people think when they come to Christ, Christian in general, or the Church. If God didn't approve of humor/laughter, then what is this verse talking about? If Christ didn't allow humor/laughter, then a pastor at a church I went to wouldn't have dressed up in a costume and slide down from the church balcony to show us laughter/ humor and to show much he appreciated the people who were servicing. What comes about because of laughter/humor, that is joy and us being joyful.
But why is the view of Christianity this way? Why do people think that Church is boring, not allowed to be humorous and have laughter, or we have to be Solemn? It's what people see and the biggest thing that people see is the Catholic church and the view that they have. If you can picture a service and I know you, can we all can where you get up and sit down and get up and sit down while singing songs and other things then you sit there and listen to the Priest and then you come up like sheep to do the communion one by one. But that is not Christianity that is a religion. And Sarah said, “God has made laughter for me; everyone who hears will laugh over me.” Genesis 21:6. God create laughter for Sarah, so we know that approves of laughter and of humor. God created all things, and He created laughter and humor.
Let that sink in, God created all things, He created laughter and humor just like he created the body parts on your body or earth or anything you can think of that God created. He will yet fill your mouth with laughter, And your lips with joyful shouting. Job 8:21.
I will leave you with a joke:
How did Abraham get his coffee: He brews it. lol
