Yesterday I had you look and some questions and think about them for today. I will not be going in order of the questions that I wrote Yesterday. The sin we commit is never greater than any grace and especially the grace that is from Jesus Christ. God gives us grace and mercy. It says in Hebrews 4:16, Therefore let’s approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need. We are to walk in confidence in the grace and receive grace and mercy. This grace and mercies that we are talking about are made new every day, so grace is greater than all our sins.
Just listen to this hymn to know that our grace is greater than all our sins. https://music.apple.com/us/playlist/building-429-grace-that-is-greater-single/pl.u-zPyLYaPFZZ4W1v. You just have to listen to hymns and read your Bible to know that grace is greater than any sin we have and commit. Paul knew of grace because if you have read your Bible, you know that Paul persecuted Christians. Then by God's grace, he was transformed and turned from His sin and was made new in Jesus Christ and became a worker in the field for Jesus. Just look at chapter 9 of Acts. Paul was changed by this grace.
Even though this grace is freely given it does come at a cost. Paul gave up everything he knew and his life as he knew it just for this grace. We have to do the same we cannot stay the same and our lives have to change and we cannot look back. The cost for this grace is that we turn from our sin and evil ways and follow Jesus with our whole hearts. It is best summed up in the song by Michael W. Smith https://music.apple.com/us/playlist/michael-w-smith-a-new-hallelujah-live/pl.u-qxylDRaI22J6a1.
I am going to leave it there for today and give you time to read Acts 9:1-16 which I will post in the bible reading for today. What the Bible has to say is more important that anything I could say or write.
