There are three types of wisdom I believe, our own wisdom, worldly wisdom, and God's wisdom. I would say the devil's wisdom, but he has no wisdom worth anything and it's not worth mentioning or talking about. Which one are we to listen to the most, God's wisdom of course? Our own wisdom lacks understanding, and worldly wisdom seeks foolish things. So, we are to seek God's wisdom at all times in our lives.
And all the earth was seeking the attention of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart. 1 Kings 10:24. In this verse, we see that the whole earth was seeking the wisdom that came from God through Solomon. He is just the vessel for God's wisdom to be shared.
So, we are to seek God's wisdom, what do we do with the other wisdom that comes into our life. we often don't ignore it, we often take it to heart and follow that wisdom. We see the glitz and glamour of worldly wisdom and we follow it. We like those types of things and get us so often into trouble. Just because it looks good doesn't mean it is good for you, remember the fruit that Adam and Eve ate.
In terms of our own Wisdom. We tend to think we know it all and that is our demise. Our own wisdom is limited and will not get us very far. We are to always be seeking wisdom and not thinking we know it all and that wisdom we are to seek is God's wisdom. Instead of thinking, that we know everything, Let's be a vessel for God to fill with His wisdom.
So tomorrow I will be digging into what is God's wisdom and where does it come from.
How wonderful to be wise, to understand things, to be able to analyze them and interpret them. Wisdom lights up a man's face, softening its hardness. Ecclesiastes 8:1
