How to Glorify God When You Have Emotion?

God makes a home for the lonely; He leads out the prisoners into prosperity, Only the rebellious live in parched lands. psalms 68:6. How to Glorify God When You Have Emotion? Today's emotion is loneliness. God does not want us to be lonely if he did, He wouldn't be with us all the time. Even when walking through the dark valley of death I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me, guarding, guiding all the way. Psalms 23:4. God will not leave you or forsake you.  As I said He is with us all the time. 

So, why should we feel lonely with that being said? since we cannot see God, we often are not sure if he is there or because often, he is not working in our lives (actually helping us). So, we feel alone when things like this happen. When that happens, we need to call it out and speak the words of the bible that say in Hebrews 13:5, Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever abandon you,”. He will always be with us, and I will keep saying it over and over again, so it gets stuck in your head. He is always with us and we are not to be lonely.

As I talked about with emotion thus far, just like the others this is a negative emotion. (The only emotion used in the right way is anger.) The devil wants you to feel lonely all the time, to be cut off from other believers and especially God. The lonelier you feel the happier the devil is. We have to have a close relationship with God and not be cut off from Him, remind yourself from that all day long. The devil will use this as a win for him and we don't want him to win

So when you feel lonely, the way you can glorify Jesus is to call out the loneliness and read scripture like Psalms 23:4 to be reminded that He is with us. When we call it out and bring it to the light it is no longer in the dark and will be trampled on In His holy name Jesus. We are called to be in community with other believers and be in community with Jesus. Other ways you can glorify Jesus when you are lonely is to call a fellow believer, pray and not cease, worship. 

I have not said this yet about any of the emotions in this way, that loneliness will pass, it will not be forever. I love the way the verse says about sadness and I believe can be applied to any negative emotion is though the emotion will come it will only last for a night and Joy will come in the morning. We can take joy for joy or we can Joy to mean that the negative emotion is gone and we are restored in Jesus.

To end today will leave you with this statement and it is, God is with us always and he wants good things for you. So never be lonely again in Jesus' Name Amen.
