Passing Judgement Jesus Continued....

30 and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:3--31 NASB

God gave two commandments and they both deal with love. the first is to love God with all you have and the second is to love others.

To further this point let's look at John 15:12 (NASB) which says, “This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loveyou.

We are to love one another as Christ has loved us.

For this, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Romans 13:9 NASB

This verse talks about the commandments which God gave them.

Starting to see a pattern...

Love!!!!

Now let's ask the question of where judgment in these verses is or in the Bible?

It's not and it doesn't exist in the Bible concerning us and doing that.

God is the only true judge.

12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you, judging your neighbor? James 4:12 NASB

We need love not judgment.

I leave with this verse...

34 I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all people will know that you are My disciples: if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35 NASB
