Do you care what people think when you worship?
Do you not worship like you should because of others?
When answering either of the questions above does matter when stacked up against the fact that Jesus died for our sins?
What is more important what man thinks or what God thinks?
I am here to tell you that what matters most is what God thinks not man. The kind of worship we need to have is one that is free from man, what others think, and what we care about what others think. We need to be free to throw our hands like we just don't care about anything else but God. The best example of this is when David danced.
14 And David was dancing before the Lord with all his strength, and David was wearing a linen ephod.
16 Then it happened, as the ark of the Lord was coming into the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looked down through the window and saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord; and she was contemptuous of him in her heart.
20 But when David returned to bless his own household, Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David and said, “How the king of Israel dignified himself today! For he exposed himself today in the sight of his servants’ female slaves, as one of the rabble shamelessly exposes himself!” 21 But David said to Michal, “I was before the Lord, who preferred me to your father and to all his house, to appoint me as ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel. So I will celebrate before the Lord! 2 Samuel 6:14,16,20-21 NASB
David did not care what others thought he only cared about celebrating (worshipping) the Lord. He was confronted about dancing and worshipping God and said I was before the Lord. this means he was not doing this for man or cared what man thought he only cared what God thought. God was more important to David than man and what others think.
We need to be just like David in every aspect of our worship. David sought the heart of God. 22 After He had removed him, He raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, ‘I have found David, the son of Jesse, a man after My heart, who will do all My will.’ Acts 13:22 NASB
Worship like David today!!!!
Be a man after God's heart and worship like David!!!
Throw your hand in the air and don't care about anything but God today!!!!
Don't think or care what others think just worship God!!!!
