8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Hebrews 13:8 KJV.
What if we took that verse and said this (your name) worshipped and sought God the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
Jesus doesn't change He is always the same as the verse says.
It is we who change, who screw up and take the circumstance and make it into something worse.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23
I cannot stress enough that bad days will come, it's what we do with them that matters.
I keep coming back to this and that is:
Don't let your circumstances dictate your praise.
Let your praise dictate your circumstances.
Put another way:
Don't let your bad days dictate how you will praise.
Let your praise dictate your bad days.
This goes back to another idea that I think God wants from us and that is:
Flatline praise means no matter what comes we praise God the same.
We are always told to live like Christ.
11 Imitate me, just as I imitate Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:1
God is the same Yesterday, today, and forever.
So, we should live the same as God or as the verse says to imitate Christ.
As we end this series, I leave you with this question:
What will you do on your bad days?
