Today we will be talking about giving God our first, middle, and last as part of living in a 24/7 world.
33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you. Mattthew 6:33 ASV
But [strive for and actively] seek His kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well. Luke 12:31 AMP
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
6 For I, Jehovah, change not; therefore ye, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed. Malachi 3:6 ASV
6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 ESV
10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 ESV
8 Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1 Peter 5:8 ASV
In the morning when we wake up, we are to seek God and His kingdom which we have talked about before in another series. We are to give God our first which means to before all else give God reverence.
We are then to seek God continually all day long. This is the middle of the day. We so often start our day and end our day with Christ but forget him in the middle. God is the God of all day not just the morning and the night.
God is with us all day so we should be with God all day long!!!
The devil does not like the light he is darkness, and the night is the most important time to seek God!!!
We need to seek God as in the morning. when we start strong we need to finish strong.
a pastor recently said it is not how you start but how you finish.
If God as it talks about in Malachi 3:6 does not change, we should not change and be just like Christ.
5 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. Ephesians 5:1 ESV
