Bad Day: The Difference...

What is the difference between the worldly and the Godly, there is nothing but one thing. The only difference is that the godly had a God that was with them, helped them and they decided to turn to God rather than sulk and be led astray. They did not turn away when they had a bad day they worshiped and remained faithful to God.

There are going to be bad days in life, and we cannot escape them, but it is how we respond to them that matters. Are we going to like the worldly or the Godly?

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 ESV

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him. Nahum 1:7 ESV

When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Psalm 34:17-20 ESV

These are just some verses that tell us that God is with us and that he will help us in our storms/bad days. But The Godly may or may not have known these verses but they knew that God would be with them and help them in their times of bad days.

You can say that Moses ran and did not stand but God still was with him and helped him through it all. God was with them all and helped them through it all.

God doesn't back down from a fight, or a bad day, or anything you can think of. Remember Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV) which says, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

He will always be with us. Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20 NKJV. Just like disciples, He will be with us to the end of the age.

Tomorrow we will talk about the third sentence that we started with....
