Being a Christian in a 24/7 world: continuous...

The last thing about being a Christian in a 24/7 world is continuous.

4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. Acts 6:4 KJV

Just like it talks about praying continually, we need to do everything the same continually. We need to do it so much that it becomes a habit. We need to do it so much that evil and the devil have not an inch to stand on. 

These are the things we need to same as the verse talks about prayer (prayer included):

 1. Today

2. Give God your first, middle, and last

3. Create time with God

4. Read your Bible

5. Pray 

6. Worship

8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. James 4:8 KJV

 We need to continuously draw nigh to God so that he will draw nigh to us. nigh means close for the purpose of this verse. other versions use close, but I like versions that use nigh is so poetic. The deeper we are in Christ, the farther we are able to be touched by the devil or evil.

So be continuous today and add the seventh one to the list above.

7. Do this all continually

All these things matter, all need to be done continuously!!!!
