1 +1=2 comes easier because you practice and now you know that for life the answer 1=1=2. Our praise is the same, we need to practice it till it comes as easy as knowing the answer to 1+1=2. Praising like a flatline takes practice. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:9 ESV. This verse says that we are to practice what we have learned and have received. Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress. 1 Timothy 4:15 ESV. We are to practice again as it says in 1 Timothy 4:15 so that we may see progress. We need to played it till my (our) fingers bled as it says in the song, Summer of '69.
We need to imprint this kind of praise on our hearts.18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. Deuteronomy 11:18 KJV. We need till we die and go to heaven to imprint this kind of praise in our hearts and in our minds, so it is flatlined all the time, every time.
Things to think about...
What is keeping you from flatline praise?
Do you praise just like you have in your hands in the air, and you just don't care about anything but God?
Do you act undignified and praise God with all your life?
Do you care what others will think when you praise God in a certain way?
Think about these things and answer them honestly. (I will share my answer tomorrow).
