Evaluation for Upcoming Series Called Cell Phone Jesus.

Today is not so much a message but a call to an evaluation. Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves [not Christ]. Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you—unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected? 2 Corinthians 13:5 

Today's evacuation is in preparation for the upcoming series called Cell Phone Jesus. I believe there are four types of apps that are on your phone 

Education/ knowledge apps
Health/ finance apps
Entertainment apps
Personal apps

Each app has a purpose, and you would be lost without that app on your phone, right? Each app does have a purpose and can be used in such a manner but does the app lead you towards Jesus or away from Jesus? For me, I have financial apps and they do not lead me to God, but they are essential apps to have so I know what is going on with my finances. I have other essential apps that are for other things. So, when doing this evaluation do not look at the essential apps and delete them. But take a look at the function of the other apps and see if they bring you closer to Jesus or away from Jesus.

one thing I do all the time; is an app clean-up to see what apps I do not use and delete them if I don't you them. If an app causes you to stumble and not seek Jesus, isn't it better to cut it off than let it grow and causes destruction in your life? I think not it is better to get rid of the app. So, let's get to the parameters of the evaluation. there is only one and that is other than essential apps and no social media apps do not count as essential, evaluate if the app brings you closer to Jesus or further from Jesus, and if the app brings you further from Jesus delete it, cut it out of your life you do not need it. It will only as I said cause destruction. But with all things pray first and then do the evaluation. It is always best to surround yourself in prayer when doing these types of things because the devil will try and derail you from the task that is at hand. Tell the devil hands off my cell phone this cell phone is for Jesus.
