I do not understand…

Yesterday I was reading the bible and did not understand a verse I was reading. After further review of the verse, I finally figure out what it meant. Well sort of, I still didn’t fully understand one part of the verse. I tell you this because not everything we read in the bible or hear from God will we understand what it means fully or even at all at the specific point in time. He may reveal the meaning later or help you to understand in that moment to. There are somethings we do not understand and will not understand but God knows all and understands it all. It is not for us to understand all things, then we would be God and that is not what were supposed to be. We are to be like Him not be Him. So, what should we do when we do not understand? Pray for understanding, research, or just except that you do not understand and give the understanding to God and let Him work it out. Even when I don’t understand something I keep on doing it like reading the bible. If every time we didn’t understand something we didn’t do it, what would we be left with? Not much or nothing at all and that is not good. I will use the bible again as an example again not even the smart of the smart can understand the entire bible and what it means. There are parts of revelation that no one fully understands. They are always trying to understand the bible and what it means. they never know and I'm ok with that. just like the bible verse I talked about in the beginning I get the Jest of the verse but do not fully understand it and I'm ok with that and will keep reading and never lose hope because of that. Do lose hope when you do not understand just keep doing the thing you may not fully understand, God will give you the understanding if thinks you need it. so go forth today in the knowledge that you will not understand everything and take comfort in the fact that we are not meant to understand it all.

 I allude to pray a lot because it the best thing to do in any circumstance. It’s one of the main weapons God gives us.
