Psalm 71

Prayer of an Old Man for Rescue.

71 In You, Lord, I have taken refuge;

Let me never be put to shame.

2 In Your righteousness rescue me and save me;

Extend Your ear to me and help me.

3 Be to me a rock of dwelling to which I may continually come;

You have given the commandment to save me,

For You are my rock and my fortress.

4 Save me, my God, from the hand of the wicked,

From the grasp of the wrongdoer and the ruthless,

5 For You are my hope;

Lord God, You are my confidence from my youth.

6 I have leaned on you since my birth;

You are He who took me from my mother’s womb;

My praise is continually of You.

7 I have become a marvel to many,

For You are my strong refuge.

8 My mouth is filled with Your praise

And with Your glory all day long.

9 Do not cast me away at the time of my old age;

Do not abandon me when my strength fails.

10 For my enemies have spoken against me;

And those who watch for my life have consulted together,

11 Saying, “God has abandoned him;

Pursue and seize him, for there is no one to save him.”

12 God, do not be far from me;

My God, hurry to my aid!

13 May those who are enemies of my soul be put to shame and consumed;

May they be covered with disgrace and dishonor, who seek to injure me.

14 But as for me, I will wait continually,

And will praise You yet more and more.

15 My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness

And of Your salvation all day long;

For I do not know the art of writing.

16 I will come with the mighty deeds of the Lord God;

I will make mention of Your righteousness, Yours alone.

17 God, You have taught me from my youth,

And I still declare Your wondrous deeds.

18 And even when I am old and gray, God, do not abandon me,

Until I declare Your strength to this generation,

Your power to all who are to come.

19 For Your righteousness, God, reaches to the heavens,

You who have done great things;

God, who is like You?

20 You who have shown me many troubles and distresses

Will revive me again,

And will bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

21 May You increase my greatness

And turn to comfort me.

22 I will also praise You with a harp,

And Your truth, my God;

I will sing praises to You with the lyre,

Holy One of Israel.

23 My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to You;

And my soul, which You have redeemed.

24 My tongue also will tell of Your righteousness all day long;

For they are put to shame, for they are humiliated who seek my harm. Psalm 71 NASB

Glorify Him!!!

Yesterday we looked at where to praise (glorify Jesus) but what and how are to do this, let's look at the rest of the psalm to find out.

3 Praise Him with trumpet sound;

Praise Him with harp and lyre.

4 Praise Him with tambourine and dancing;

Praise Him with stringed instruments and flute.

5 Praise Him with loud cymbals;

Praise Him with resounding cymbals.

6 Everything that has breath shall praise the Lord.

Praise the Lord! Psalm 150:3-6 NASB

So, after we read these verses, we know that we are to praise God with all kinds of instruments. What would that have looked like back then? It's similar to our worship bands today I imagine. But I do not see the harp, lyre, or flutes in our worship bands today.

Let’s come before His presence with a song of thanksgiving, Let’s shout joyfully to Him in songs with instruments. Psalm 95:2 NASB

We are to praise God with all that we have using instruments, but it doesn't stop there, we are to dance to praise (glorify God). Yes, we are to dance before God to praise Him. We are to use all that strength that is talked about in Mark 12:30.

and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ Mark 12:30

There is one more thing we are to do to praise/glorify Jesus and that is the use of all our breath. we are to praise God with all our breath as I researched. This means we are to use our voice to praise (glorify Jesus) with all that we have. We are to get loud, shout, and speak praise to God 24/7, we know this because we breathe 24/7.

My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to You; And my soul, which You have redeemed. Psalm 71:23 NASB

So, the ways we are to praise (glorify Jesus) God are to use instruments, dance, and use our voice which is our breath.

So, go forth and use these things to praise (glorify Jesus) God.

1 Chronicles 29:10-20

David’s Prayer

10 So David blessed the Lord in the sight of all the assembly; and David said, “Blessed are You, Lord God of Israel our father, forever and ever. 11 Yours, Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and on the earth; Yours is the dominion, Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head over all. 12 Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone. 13 Now therefore, our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name.

14 “But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given to You. 15 For we are strangers before You, and temporary residents, as all our fathers were; our days on the earth are like a shadow, and there is no hope. 16 Lord our God, all this abundance that we have provided to build You a house for Your holy name, it is from Your hand, and everything is Yours. 17 Since I know, my God, that You put the heart to the test and delight in uprightness, I, in the integrity of my heart, have willingly offered all these things; so now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here, make their offerings willingly to You. 18 Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the intentions of the hearts of Your people, and direct their hearts to You; 19 and give my son Solomon a perfect heart to keep Your commandments, Your testimonies, and Your statutes, and to do them all, and to build the temple for which I have made provision.”

20 Then David said to all the assembly, “Now bless the Lord your God.” And all the assembly blessed the Lord, the God of their fathers, and bowed down and paid homage to the Lord and the king. 1 Chronicles 29:10-20 NASB

Glorify Him!!!

We have been talking about Psalm 150 and where we are to praise (glorify Jesus). Today we turn and look at what we are to praise (glorify Him) for.

Praise Him in His mighty expanse.

2 Praise Him for His mighty deeds;

Praise Him according to His excellent greatness. Psalm 150: last part of 1,2 NASB

Expanse means according to dictionary.com says, an uninterrupted space or area; a wide extent of anything. something that is spread out, especially over a relatively large area.

The heavens tell of the glory of God; And their expanse declares the work of His hands. Psalm 19:1 NASB

Deeds are things that he has done for us.

Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion; Declare His deeds among the peoples. Psalm 9:11 NASB

His greatness Is all that He is and does.

Yours, Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and on the earth; Yours is the dominion, Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head over all. 1 Chronicles 29:11 NASB

In my spirit and what I know we are to praise (glorify Jesus) for everything not just these three things. But then:

My mind was blown as I was writing this, and this came to me that this covers everything meaning that everything falls under one of these three.

His expanse is everything he has made and can see (the entire universe).

Earth

Heaven and hell

These are just a few examples of this.

His deeds is everything He does for us and will do for us.

Grace

healing

love

help

these are just some examples of His deeds.

Greatness Is everything He is.

Loving

Compassionate

Just

Righteous

Caring

these are just some examples of His greatness.

Think about this today!!!

Side Note:

It is so cool when God gives you incite and revelations about what you think you know, and God says no it's not that or changes your thoughts and directs them to something else.

Psalm 92

Praise for the Lord’s Goodness.

A Psalm, a Song for the Sabbath day.

92 It is good to give thanks to the Lord

And to sing praises to Your name, Most High;

2 To declare Your goodness in the morning

And Your faithfulness by night,

3 With the ten-stringed lute and with the harp,

With resounding music on the lyre.

4 For You, Lord, have made me joyful by what You have done,

I will sing for joy over the works of Your hands.

5 How great are Your works, Lord!

Your thoughts are very deep.

6 A stupid person has no knowledge,

Nor does a foolish person understand this:

7 When the wicked sprouted up like grass

And all who did injustice flourished,

It was only that they might be destroyed forevermore.

8 But You, Lord, are on high forever.

9 For, behold, Your enemies, Lord,

For, behold, Your enemies will perish;

All who do injustice will be scattered.

10 But You have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox;

I have been anointed with fresh oil.

11 And my eye has looked at my enemies,

My ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me.

12 The righteous person will flourish like the palm tree,

He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

13 Planted in the house of the Lord,

They will flourish in the courtyards of our God.

14 They will still yield fruit in advanced age;

They will be full of sap and very green,

15 To declare that the Lord is just;

He is my rock, and there is no malice in Him. Psalm 92 NASB

Glorify Him!!!

I'm getting this in my soul that Psalm 150 only talks about sanctuary and heaven to praise (glorify) God, but the people make up the church. As I said one is earthly and one is heavenly. But praising (Glorifying) God doesn't just stop at the sanctuary it is a 24/7 kind of thing. We are to praise (glorify) God all day long. The people of the church are to praise (glorify) God all day long,

I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalm 34:1 KJV

Praise (Glorifying) is a 24/7 kind of thing.

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Hebrews 13:15 KJV

But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more. Psalm 71:14 KJV

We are to praise (glorify) God 24/7.

We were made to worship Him!!!

So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 1:27 NASB

When we were made in the image of God, we were designed to worship the creator, the one who made us.

Each day we are to praise 24/7 because that is the way God made us.

This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.  Psalm 118:24 KJV

God made each day and in that, we are designed to worship Him.

Glorifying God is a 24/7 kind of thing.

Glorifying God is a 24/7 kind of action.

Glorifying God is a 24/7 built-in design.

Praise God 24/7 today!!!

Psalm 19

19 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. Psalm 19 KJV

Glorify Him!!!

To start off this psalm talks about where to praise. The psalm lists sanctuary and His heavens are where we are to praise. To me, as read I this, the one writing this is conveying a place to praise on earth which is the sanctuary, and one that is of course not on this earth and that is heaven. We are to praise in the sanctuary which means your church. Within a church the place where worship and hearing a message is called a sanctuary. Back in the days of this Psalm, it would have been the temple. We are to come together and praise God (Jesus) in His house which is the church and, in this instance, to be more specific the sanctuary.

No greater place than at your local church to praise right?  One place comes to mind and that place is heaven which is the second place we are to praise God (Jesus). One day when we make it to heaven, we will praise God (Jesus) There. We will be among the other angels and praise God in Heaven.

15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Hebrews 13:15 KJV

Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! Psalm 95:6 ESV

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Colossians 3:16 ESV

This kind of praise is supposed to happen in the sanctuary.

19 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Psalm 19:1 KJV

148 Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. Psalm 148:1-2 KJV

This kind of praise is supposed to happen in Heaven as well.

Tomorrow, we continue to look at Psalm 150 and this idea of Glorifying Him!!!

Psalm 150

 150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.

6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. Psalm 150 KJV

Glorify Him!!!

The title of this psalm is A Psalm of Praise which is the last psalm. I was looking at some notes to see what God had for me today to share with you and the notes I had were from growth tracks at church and the word celebrate came up. Most of what I found was about festivals in the bible. Seeing that word got me thinking about why we are to glorify Jesus. I looked up in the thesaurus the word praise and low and be hold it had the words celebration and glorification. The root words are exactly what I got from God and what I was thinking to talk about.

The root words are glorify and celebrate. Praise means to glorify and to celebrate. What are we to glorify and celebrate? It's not a what but a who and that is Jesus Christ. We are to glorify Jesus and we are to celebrate Jesus!!!

Let's read and look at Psalm 150 as we get ready to unpack this wonderful Psalm that says we should praise (glorify and celebrate) the Lord!!!

150  Praise the Lord!

Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty heavens.
   2 Praise Him for His mighty acts;
Praise Him according to [the abundance of] His greatness.

3 Praise Him With the trumpet sound;

Praise Him with harp and lyre.

4 Praise Him with tambourine and dancing;

Praise Him with stringed instruments and flute.

5 Praise Him with resounding cymbals

Praise Him with loud cymbals.

6 Let everything that has breath and every breath of life praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) Psalm 150 AMP

I pray that this lead us to glorify Jesus

God, I pray that you show us what you have for us to glorify Jesus

God, I pray for protection surrounding us as we look at glorifying Jesus

I Glorify you this morning Jesus

In Jesus Name

Amen

Revelations 1

 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show unto his servants, even the things which must shortly come to pass: and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John; 2 who bare witness of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, even of all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written therein: for the time is at hand.

4 John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from him who is and who was and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits that are before his throne; 5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loveth us, and loosed us from our sins by his blood; 6 and he made us to be a kingdom, to be priests unto his God and Father; to him be the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 7 Behold, he cometh with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they that pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth shall mourn over him. Even so, Amen.

8 I am the Alpha and the Omega, saith the Lord God, [i]who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.

9 I John, your brother and partaker with you in the tribulation and kingdom and patience which are in Jesus, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet 11 saying, What thou seest, write in a book and send it to the seven churches: unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamum, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. 12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And having turned I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13 and in the midst of the candlesticks one like unto a son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about at the breasts with a golden girdle. 14 And his head and his hair were white as white wool, white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 and his feet like unto burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace; and his voice as the voice of many waters. 16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. 17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as one dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the last, 18 and the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades. 19 Write therefore the things which thou sawest, and the things which are, and the things which shall come to pass hereafter; 20 the mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks are seven churches. Revelations 1 ASV

Attack...

19 If ye were of the world, the world would love its own: but because ye are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. John 15:19

The verse before 19 talks about the world hating Jesus first and it says, 18 If the world hateth you, ye know that it hath hated me before it hated you.

20 Remember the word that I said unto you, A servant is not greater than his lord. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they kept my word, they will keep yours also.

When there is an attack (being hated) on one Christian there is an attack (being hated) on all Christians. There is a war on Christians, and it is getting worse. God's chosen people are under attack, Jews and then Christians.

But if we read your Bible...

God wins the battle, the war, He wins it all!!!

God, I pray this morning for the war that is at hand for Jews and Christians

God, I pray you help us and guide us

God protect us from evil and the devil

send the devil back down to hell

Shut the devil up

It is time for God to show up

God, I pray you reign today

In Jesus Name,

Amen

Take time to read revelations and see and know that God wins today!!!

Take time to take the fight to the devil and praise, worship, read your Bible, and pray today!!!

Psalm 82:6, 1 Peter 2:9, Psalm 4:3

 6 I said, “You are gods; Indeed, all of you are sons of the Most High. Psalm 82:6 ASV

6 I said, “You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High. Psalm 82:6 NKJV

9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 1 Peter 2:9 NKJV

But ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 1 Peter 2:9 ASV

3 But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly; The Lord will hear when I call to Him. Psalm 4:3 NKJV

3 But know that Jehovah hath set apart for himself him that is godly: Jehovah will hear when I call unto him. Psalm 4:3 ASV

You are gods...

God wants us all to be gods among Him.

God wants us set apart from others for Himself.

God wants us to be His chosen people.

God wants us to be a royal priesthood.

God wants to be a holy nation.

God wants these things for us.

The word want is the wrong word instead it should be calls.

God calls us to be these things.

I said, “You are gods; Indeed, all of you are sons of the Most High. Psalm 82:6 ASV

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 1 Peter 2:9 NKJV

But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly; The Lord will hear when I call to Him. Psalm 4:3 NKJV

God calls us to be a royal priesthood, set apart, a holy nation, His chosen people, to be gods among Himself.

These verses above and more tell us that we are God's people and what we are to Him.

As we close today this talk about Psalm 82:6 I wanted to recap at the same time remind us once more what we are to God.

The devil loses and God wins!!!!

Go forth today as God sees you and live as God calls you to be!!!!

Mediate on these things today!!!

Pray about these things!!!!

Matthew 7:7-11

7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 9 Or what person is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf of bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? 11 So if you, despite being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Matthew 7:7-11 NASB

You are gods...

We are sinners.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23 NASB

People in this day and age turn away from God and sin is ramped.

Through all that going on and all the sin happening in the world and our lives, God still calls us His chosen people, a royal priesthood, God's possession, and a holy nation.

As we have been studying the idea of Psalm 82:6, think about this for a moment we are sinners and God still wants to call us gods.

God doesn't change, He is there knocking at the door.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, and forever. Hebrew 13:8 NASB

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. Revelations 3:20 NASB

How can I be a god for God when I sin?

Easy

Forgiveness

I say all this to let you know that God wants us to be gods among Him even though we sin and fall short of Him.

Think about your greatest sin (for a moment) and then think about how even though that sin happened God still wants us as a chosen people, He wants us to be gods among Him.

Thank You, God, for choosing us even though we are sinners

Thank You for wanting us to be gods among You

Thank You, God, for being the same throughout history

Thank You, God, for everything and all things

Just thank You

In Jesus Name

Amen

Philippians 2:1-18

 Be like Christ

2 Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, 2 make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. 3 Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility consider one another as more important than yourselves; 4 do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. 5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, as He already existed in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7 but emptied Himself by taking the form of a bond-servant and being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death: death on a cross. 9 For this reason also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12 So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who is at work in you, both to desire and to work for His good pleasure.

14 Do all things without complaining or arguments; 15 so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as [m]lights in the world, 16 holding firmly the word of life, so that on the day of Christ I can take pride because I did not run in vain nor labor in vain. 17 But even if I am being poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and share my joy with you all. 18 You too, I urge you, rejoice in the same way and share your joy with me. Philippians 2:1-18 NASB

You are gods...

 To start off today I need to say that verse Psalm 82:6 says we are gods, not God himself. There is no one who is to be put in place of God Himself, He is God alone. No other God can say I Am only God. So, we are not to think about this verse as we are to be God. But God has set his people who are called Jews first then Christians to be set apart and royal priesthood.

34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods” ’? John 10:34 NKJV

Even Jesus said, we are gods, and nowhere does it say again that we are to be God. In all that I know and remember from things I have read and heard, gods can do certain things but cannot do all that God can do,

And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. Matthew 10:1 NKJV

God gave us this same power as did to the disciples.

God is everywhere all the time, and we cannot be everywhere all the time. This is just an example of the distinction between being a god versus being God.

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:1-2 ESV

We are to be like Christ meaning be a god, not God himself. We are to imitate the things of God, we are not to say we are Him.

Think about and meditate on these things.

Dear God help us to be like you said in Psalm 82:6

Be with us to be Christ-like

Help us to be imitators of you

Keep all negativity and bad spirits away from those who are set apart in You

Protect us from the lies of the devil and all his schemes

We thank you and praise you

In Jesus Name

Amen

Exodus 8:21-23

 21 Or else, if you will not let My people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies on you and your servants, on your people and into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground on which they stand. 22 And in that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, in which My people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there, in order that you may know that I am the Lord in the midst of the land. 23 I will [a]make a difference between My people and your people. Tomorrow this sign shall be.” Exodus 8:21-23 NKJV

You are gods...

I wasn't sure exactly what I would talk about today, but God gave me this verse to look up and ponder based on what I was reading, I was seeking what to talk about, and this verse came back to mind, and I got the feeling I should share it (from God).

Let's look at the heading for this chapter which says so we can understand this verse we will be looking at and its meaning which says, unjust judgment rebuked. To rebuke means to disapprove of, reprove, or reprimand according to Dictionary.com. after reading and looking at the heading, we get an idea of what Asaph the writer was trying to tell us. Now to the verse.

I said, “You are gods; Indeed, all of you are sons of the Most High. Psalm 82:6 ASV

I being God said we are gods. Right after I got done reading this, I looked it up on the commentary website I use. I did not understand what was being said.

With all that I read the pulpit commentary says it best and which says, verse 6. - I have said, Ye are gods; i.e. "in my Law I have called you gods" - I have given you this lofty name since ye judge on my behalf, "as my representatives". And all of you are children of the Most High. Not therefore "gods" in the strictest sense, but possessing a derived, and so a qualified, divinity. Psalm 82:6

After all that I was reading and thinking about these verses came to mind.

Think and meditate on these verses as we will continue to look at this verse (Psalm 82:6) tomorrow.

Psalm 119:137-144

 Meditations and Prayers Relating to the Law of God.

Tsadhep- A righteous person

137 You are righteous, Lord,

And Your judgments are right.

138 You have commanded Your testimonies in righteousness

And great faithfulness.

139 My zeal has consumed me,

Because my enemies have forgotten Your words.

140 Your word is very pure,

Therefore Your servant loves it.

141 I am small and despised,

Yet I do not forget Your precepts.

142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness,

And Your Law is truth.

143 Trouble and anguish have come upon me,

Yet Your commandments are my delight.

144 Your testimonies are righteous forever;

Give me understanding that I may live. Psalm 119:137-144

Psalm 70: A Study

Yesterday we examined what the devil will do to rerail us and keep us farther from God. Now keeping on this subject let's look deeper at what the devil/evil will do specifically to us in this psalm. This psalm talks about people who want to kill, people who delight in trouble, and people who say Aha we got him (you).

God does not believe in killing and we know this according to His word in Exodus 20;13 (NASB) which says, You shall not murder. We are not to kill in any way. We are to value life so we should not seek to kill someone. Have you had someone say to you that I'm going to kill you later or I'm going to kill you now? Killing goes against God so that is from the devil and from evil.

God does not want people to delight in people's troubles. We know this by His word in Ephesians 4:32 (ESV) which says, Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. God wants us to be kind and tenderhearted toward each other. God does not want us to seek or do anything when people are in trouble other than try and help them or pray for them.

People will say we Got Him. That kind of talk is from the devil and from evil. The talk from God is different and will say I got you in my arms, in my bosom, in my protection. So people can say that, but God is with us and will never forsake us and we know this by His word in Hebrews 13:5 (ESV) which states, Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” God is with us always.

But the devil is still there...

But at the end of all this that the devil wants to do or tries to do to derail us or get us further away from God, God wins over the devil every time we just have to stand firm In Him, in His word, and in prayer and worship.

God strengthen us today

God help us to stand firm in You and stand firm in Your word and in prayer and worship

Let the devil flee and all his schemes be derailed

Let Yourself win every time

In Jesus Name

Amen

Luke 4:1-13

 The Temptation of Jesus

4 And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness 2 for forty days, being tempted by the devil. And he ate nothing during those days. And when they were ended, he was hungry. 3 The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” 4 And Jesus answered him, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone.’” 5 And the devil took him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time, 6 and said to him, “To you I will give all this authority and their glory, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will. 7 If you, then, will worship me, it will all be yours.” 8 And Jesus answered him, “It is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.’”

9 And he took him to Jerusalem and set him on the pinnacle of the temple and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down from here, 10 for it is written, “‘He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you,’ 11 and “‘On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.’” 12 And Jesus answered him, “It is said, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’” 13 And when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from him until an opportune time. Luke 4:1-13 ESV

Psalm 70: A Study

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. John 10:10 ESV

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8 ESV

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 ESV

The devil is anywhere and everywhere but only through his demons not by his power alone. Unlike God, the devil cannot be everywhere and anywhere, he is limited in where he can go alone.

The devil will use anything in his limited power to derail us from what God has for us. he wants that verse above to come true that we are stolen from, killed, and destroyed. he wants to be devoured and wants his schemes to come to life.

The devil will do anything he has to keep you from God. This includes the hurry, do not delay, joy, and gladness we have been talking about according to Psalm 70.

The devil even tried to tempt Jesus.

for forty days, being tempted by the devil. And he ate nothing during those days. And when they were ended, he was hungry. Luke 4:2 ESV

No one was immune to the devil and his schemes to get us farther away from God, to derail us from our relationship with God, and to steal, kill, and destroy us.

The devil loves company, the devil loves misery, the devil loves sadness, and loves the opposite of everything God loves. God loves company but not like the devil does, the kind of company the devi likes is one of sadness and misery not one of joy and gladness like God.

1 Peter 1:1-12

Born Again to a Living Hope

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, 5 who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 8 Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, 9 obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

10 Concerning this salvation, the prophets who prophesied about the grace that was to be yours searched and inquired carefully, 11 inquiring what person or time the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories. 12 It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you, in the things that have now been announced to you through those who preached the good news to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, things into which angels long to look. 1 Peter 1:1-12 ESV

Psalm 70: A Study

What is the outcome when we pray for these to happen when we need God to hurry and do not delay?

 Let's look at verse 4 of Palm 70 to find the answer.

But may all who search for you
    be filled with joy and gladness in you.
May those who love your salvation
    repeatedly shout, “God is great!” Psalm 70:4

May those who search for God, meaning those who pray and seek Him these things will be filled.

We are to be filled with joy and gladness. We are to love salvation in God, and we are to shout God is great!!!

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Romans 15:13 ESV

So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you. John 16:22 ESV

Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 ESV.

Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:24 ESV

Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:8-9 ESV

The Bible is riddled with words that want us to or direct us to have joy and to have gladness!!!

He just wants to hear from us, so He can give us these things.

God wants us to pray.

He wants us to have joy and gladness!!!!

He wants to hear the words "God is great" from all that happens.

What happens and where is the devil in all this, we will talk about that tomorrow...

Exodus 14

 Pharaoh in Pursuit

14 Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Tell the sons of Israel to turn back and camp in front of Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea; you shall camp in front of Baal-zephon, opposite it, by the sea. 3 For Pharaoh will say of the sons of Israel, ‘They are wandering aimlessly in the land; the wilderness has shut them in.’ 4 And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will chase after them; and I will be honored through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.” And they did so.

5 When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his servants had a change of heart toward the people, and they said, “What is this that we have done, that we have let Israel go from serving us?” 6 So he had horses harnessed to his chariot and took his people with him; 7 and he took six hundred select chariots, and all the other chariots of Egypt with officers over all of them. 8 So the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and he chased after the sons of Israel as the sons of Israel were going out boldly. 9 Then the Egyptians chased after them with all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, his horsemen and his army, and they overtook them camping by the sea, beside Pi-hahiroth, in front of Baal-zephon.

10 As Pharaoh approached, the sons of Israel looked, and behold, the Egyptians were coming after them, and they became very frightened; so the sons of Israel cried out to the Lord. 11 Then they said to Moses, “Is it because there were no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you dealt with us in this way, bringing us out of Egypt? 12 Is this not the word that we spoke to you in Egypt, saying, ‘Leave us alone so that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness!”

The Sea Is Divided

13 But Moses said to the people, “Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will perform for you today; for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see them again, ever. 14 The Lord will fight for you, while you keep silent.”

15 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the sons of Israel to go forward. 16 As for you, lift up your staff and reach out with your hand over the sea and divide it, and the sons of Israel shall go through the midst of the sea on dry land. 17 And as for Me, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them; and I will be honored through Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen. 18 Then the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord, when I am honored through Pharaoh, through his chariots, and through his horsemen.”

19 Then the angel of God, who had been going before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud moved from before them and stood behind them. 20 So it came between the camp of Egypt and the camp of Israel; and there was the cloud along with the darkness, yet it gave light at night. Therefore the one did not approach the other all night.

21 Then Moses reached out with his hand over the sea; and the Lord swept the sea back by a strong east wind all night, and turned the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. 22 So the sons of Israel went through the midst of the sea on the dry land, and the waters were like a wall to them on their right and on their left. 23 Then the Egyptians took up the pursuit, and all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen went in after them into the midst of the sea. 24 But at the morning watch, the Lord looked down on the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud, and brought the army of the Egyptians into confusion. 25 He caused their chariot wheels to swerve, and He made them drive with difficulty; so the Egyptians each said, “Let me flee from Israel, for the Lord is fighting for them against the Egyptians.”

26 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Reach out with your hand over the sea so that the waters may come back over the Egyptians, over their chariots and their horsemen.” 27 So Moses reached out with his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its normal state at daybreak, while the Egyptians were fleeing right into it; then the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. 28 The waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen, Pharaoh’s entire army that had gone into the sea after them; not even one of them remained. 29 But the sons of Israel walked on dry land through the midst of the sea, and the waters were like a wall to them on their right and on their left.

30 So the Lord saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore. 31 When Israel saw the great power which the Lord had used against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord, and they believed in the Lord and in His servant Moses. Exodus 14 ESV

Psalm 70: A Study

So, we have been talking about Psalm 70 and this idea of hurry and do not delay but what when happens

when we do this. The verses talk about shame, humiliation, dishonored, and turned backed.

May those who seek my life

Be put to shame and humiliated;

May those who delight in my harm

Be turned back and dishonored. Psalm 70:2 NASB

Someone may not be seeking your life like these verses but it is the same for these verses as it would be

for anything you need God to hurry or do not delay in your life and that is for God to take care of it.

let's look at a story in the Bible to further this idea.

7 And as for Me, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them; and

 I will be honored through Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen.

21 Then Moses reached out with his hand over the sea; and the Lord swept the sea back by a strong east

wind all night, and turned the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. 22 So the sons of Israel

went through the midst of the sea on the dry land, and the waters were like a wall to them on their

right and on their left. Exodus 14:7, 21-22 NASB

The Israelites needed help in a hurry and in this case, the hurry was now. In some cases, the hurry is not

 in our timing but God's.

When God does what needs to it will happen, it will get done and He will keep his promises.

For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen

to God for his glory. 2 Corinthians 1:20 ESV

God will take care of what you pray to him for or ask him for.

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19 ESV

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are

called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 ESV

God will act just pray today!!!

Psalm 40

 God Sustains His Servant.

For the music director. A Psalm of David.

40 I waited patiently for the Lord;

And He reached down to me and heard my cry.

2 He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the mud;

And He set my feet on a rock, making my footsteps firm.

3 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God;

Many will see and fear

And will trust in the Lord.

4 How blessed is the man who has made the Lord his trust,

And has not turned to the proud, nor to those who become involved in falsehood.

5 Many, Lord my God, are the wonders which You have done,

And Your thoughts toward us;

There is no one to compare with You.

If I would declare and speak of them,

They would be too numerous to count.

6 You have not desired sacrifice and meal offering;

You have opened my ears;

You have not required burnt offering and sin offering.

7 Then I said, “Behold, I have come;

It is written of me in the scroll of the book.

8 I delight to do Your will, my God;

Your Law is within my heart.”

9 I have proclaimed good news of righteousness in the great congregation;

Behold, I will not restrain my lips,

Lord, You know.

10 I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart;

I have spoken of Your faithfulness and Your salvation;

I have not concealed Your mercy and Your truth from the great congregation.

11 You, Lord, will not withhold Your compassion from me;

Your mercy and Your truth will continually watch over me.

12 For evils beyond number have surrounded me;

My guilty deeds have overtaken me, so that I am not able to see;

They are more numerous than the hairs of my head,

And my heart has failed me.

13 Be pleased, Lord, to rescue me;

Hurry, Lord, to help me.

14 May those be ashamed and humiliated together

Who seek my life to destroy it;

May those be turned back and dishonored

Who delight in my hurt.

15 May those be appalled because of their shame

Who say to me, “Aha, aha!”

16 May all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You;

May those who love Your salvation continually say,

“The Lord be exalted!”

17 But I am afflicted and needy;

May the Lord be mindful of me.

You are my help and my savior;

Do not delay, my God. Psalm 40 NASB

Psalm 70: A Study

Yesterday we started to look at Psalm 70 and then we got this main theme and idea, hurry and do not

Delay. The word hurry is used three times in this chapter. It is used to say save me, help me, and to me,

God. This psalm by David is about him needing God to act fast against his persecutors. This is brought

home by the use of do not delay at the end of the chapter. it ends the same way it begins hurry and do

not delay are words that say it needs to happen right away.

I asked these questions yesterday and I ask them again:

Do you ever feel that you need to be like this (pray this)?

What do you need God to hurry in your life today?

What do you need God not to delay in your life today?

But I add these ones today:

What do you need to step out in faith that God will hurry and not delay for you?

What is the enemy saying or trying to lie to you about this?

 God, hurry to save me;

Lord, hurry to help me! Psalm 70:1

Be pleased, Lord, to rescue me;

Hurry, Lord, to help me. Psalm 40:13

But I am afflicted and needy;

Hurry to me, God!

You are my help and my savior;

Lord, do not delay. Psalm 70:5

But I am afflicted and needy;

May the Lord be mindful of me.

You are my help and my savior;

Do not delay, my God. Psalm 40:17

Meditate on these verses and take time to answer the questions above today!!!!

Psalm 70:1-5

God, hurry to save me;

Lord, hurry to help me!

May those who seek my life

Be put to shame and humiliated;

May those who delight in my harm

Be turned back and dishonored.

May those who say, “Aha, aha!” be turned back

Because of their shame.

May all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You;

And may those who love Your salvation say continually,

“May God be exalted!”

But I am afflicted and needy;

Hurry to me, God!

You are my help and my savior;

Lord, do not delay. Psalm 70:1-5 NASB

Psalm 70: A Study God Leads...

 Today we look at Psalm 70.

Prayer for Help against Persecutors. This is the heading for the psalm as it is written in the

NASB.

This psalm was written to the music director, a psalm of David for a memorial.

Verse 1:

God, hurry to save me;

Lord, hurry to help me!

In the verse, we can infer that time is of the essence based on the word hurry. Hurry is said twice

in different ways but with the same meaning. Help and save are from the same way of thinking.

Helping someone can save them and saving someone can help them.

Be pleased, Lord, to rescue me;

Hurry, Lord, to help me.

14 May those be ashamed and humiliated together

Who seek my life to destroy it;

May those be turned back and dishonored

Who delight in my hurt.

15 May those be appalled because of their shame

Who say to me, “Aha, aha!”

16 May all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You;

May those who love Your salvation continually say,

“The Lord be exalted!”

17 But I am afflicted and needy;

May the Lord be mindful of me.

You are my help and my savior;

Do not delay, my God. Psalm 40:13-17 NASB

In these verses, the word hurry is used again, and then at the end of these it says do not

delay which by this we can infer that there is an urgency of time or as I said earlier time is of

the essence.

In both verse 1 and then the verses of Psalm 40 they wanted God to act fast, to hurry, and

help them to save them.

Do you ever feel that you need to be like this (pray this)?

What do you need God to hurry in your life today?

What do you need God not to delay in your life today?

This morning I had no clue what I was to speak on, but God directed me to this chapter. I had

read it yesterday as I'm reading through the Bible. I feel a sense that this will not be about.

Psalm 70 but a talk about hurrying and do not delay. God gave me direction on where I am

going but God had other plans than just going through Psalm 70 and that is who leads me in

this blog. Maybe it's both I do not know I will let God lead and see what He has for us.

Jermiah 31:1-26

 Israel’s Mourning Turned to Joy

31 “At that time,” declares the Lord, “I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people.”

2 This is what the Lord says:

“The people who survived the sword

Found grace in the wilderness—

Israel, when it went to find its rest.”

3 The Lord appeared to him [b]long ago, saying,

“I have loved you with an everlasting love;

Therefore I have drawn you out with kindness.

4 I will build you again and you will be rebuilt,

Virgin of Israel!

You will take up your tambourines again,

And go out to the dances of the revelers.

5 Again you will plant vineyards

On the hills of Samaria;

The planters will plant

And will enjoy the fruit.

6 For there will be a day when watchmen

On the hills of Ephraim call out,

‘Arise, and let’s go up to Zion,

To the Lord our God.’”

7 For this is what the Lord says:

“Sing aloud with joy for Jacob,

And be joyful with the chief of the nations;

Proclaim, give praise, and say,

‘Lord, save Your people,

The remnant of Israel!’

8 Behold, I am bringing them from the north country,

And I will gather them from the remote parts of the earth,

Among them those who are blind and those who limp,

The pregnant woman and she who is in labor, together;

They will return here as a great assembly.

9 They will come with weeping,

And by pleading I will bring them;

I will lead them by streams of waters,

On a straight path on which they will not stumble;

For I am a father to Israel,

And Ephraim is My firstborn.”

10 Hear the word of the Lord, you nations,

And declare it in the coastlands far away,

And say, “He who scattered Israel will gather him,

And He will keep him as a shepherd keeps his flock.”

11 For the Lord has ransomed Jacob

And redeemed him from the hand of him who was stronger than he.

12 “They will come and shout for joy on the height of Zion,

And they will be radiant over the [g]bounty of the Lord—

Over the grain, the new wine, the oil,

And over the young of the flock and the herd.

And their life will be like a watered garden,

And they will never languish again.

13 Then the virgin will rejoice in the dance,

And the young men and the old together;

For I will turn their mourning into joy

And comfort them, and give them joy for their sorrow.

14 I will refresh the soul of the priests with [h]abundance,

And My people will be satisfied with My goodness,” declares the Lord.

15 This is what the Lord says:

“A voice is heard in Ramah,

Lamenting and bitter weeping.

Rachel is weeping for her children;

She refuses to be comforted for her children,

Because they are no more.”

16 This is what the Lord says:

“Restrain your voice from weeping

And your eyes from tears;

For your work will be rewarded,” declares the Lord,

“And they will return from the land of the enemy.

17 There is hope for your future,” declares the Lord,

“And your children will return to their own territory.

18 I have certainly heard Ephraim grieving,

‘You have disciplined me, and I was corrected,

Like an untrained calf;

Bring me back that I may be restored,

For You are the Lord my God.

19 For after I turned back, I repented;

And after I was instructed, I slapped my thigh;

I was ashamed and also humiliated

Because I bore the shame of my youth.’

20 Is Ephraim My dear son?

Is he a delightful child?

Indeed, as often as I have spoken against him,

I certainly still remember him;

Therefore My heart yearns for him;

I will certainly have mercy on him,” declares the Lord.

21 “Set up roadmarks for yourself,

Place guideposts for yourself;

Direct your mind to the highway,

The way by which you went.

Return, O virgin of Israel,

Return to these your cities.

22 How long will you waver,

You rebellious daughter?

For the Lord has created a new thing on the earth:

A woman will shelter a man.”

23 This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says: “Once again they will speak this word in the

land of Judah and in its cities when I restore their fortunes,

‘The Lord bless you, O place of righteousness,

O holy hill!’

24 Judah and all its cities will live together in it, the farmers and those who travel with flocks. 25 For I

 give plenty of water to the weary ones, and refresh everyone who languishes.” 26 At this I awoke and

 looked, and my sleep had been pleasant to me. Jeremiah 31:1-26 NASB

Jeremiah 29:11: God Has a Plan...

11 For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 NASB

5 Many, Lord my God, are the wonders which You have done,

And Your thoughts toward us;

There is no one to compare with You.

If I would declare and speak of them,

They would be too numerous to count. Psalm 40:5 NASB

18 “This is what the Lord says:

‘Behold, I will restore the fortunes of the tents of Jacob

And have compassion on his dwellings;

And the city will be rebuilt on its ruins,

And the palace will stand on its rightful place.

19 From them will come a song of thanksgiving

And the voices of those who celebrate;

And I will multiply them and they will not decrease;

I will honor them and they will not be insignificant.

20 Their children also will be as before,

And their congregation will be established before Me;

And I will punish all their oppressors.

21 Their leader shall be one of them,

And their ruler will come out from their midst;

And I will bring him near and he shall approach Me;

For who would dare to risk his life to approach Me?’ declares the Lord.

22 ‘You shall be My people,

All these verses point to one thing: God has a plan for us. As we close out this series on

Jeremiah 29:11 let's dwell on this. Let's not worry about what God has for us but remind

ourselves every day that God has a plan for us.

And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Be not anxious for your life, what ye

 shall eat; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Luke 12:22 ASV

In this, we can know further that God has a plan for us.

I pray this morning for the plans You have for us Lord

I pray for you to do as you promised in Jeremiah 29:1

I pray Jesus surrounding these plan You have for Us

I pray for protection around the plan You have for us

I pray hands off devil hands off evil

I pray that nothing can get and derail us from the plans You have for us

I thank You for the plans You have for us

In Jesus Name

Amen
