The final evidence I will share with you today is the fact that Jesus is coming back. Yes, Jesus wants to return. So, Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. Hebrew 9:28. He's coming a second time. I don't know about you but if I don't like someone particularly, I won't come around again or a second time. But Jesus wants to come back so that is evidence that God wants a relationship with us.
So to recap the ways we can know that God wants a relationship with us:
He is standing at the door and knocking waiting for us to open the door to have a relationship with us. Reference Revelation 3:20
God is in our midst. reference
He showed His love for us
meaning He wants a relationship with us. reference
you have to put effort into a
relationship and God does just that by the evidence of this verse above He
gives a new heart. reference
The curtain of the temple
was torn in two Just so we could have a relationship with Him what more proof
do you.
No one who wants a relationship with some gives
someone a gift as good as that. Reference j
In the verse, it clearly states that He is with us. reference Romans 8:31
Jesus is coming back. Hebrews 9:28.
