The Real Reason: Jesus

Jesus is the reason for the season, what does that mean? Does that mean you cannot have a Christmas tree? Does that mean you cannot make a snowman or put-up lights? I say not, it all matters where you put your stock, your effort, time, your spirit that matters. if you put more stock, time, and such into lights than Jesus you are not having Jesus as the reason for the season. If you put more time into a tree or anything else that is associated with Christmas than Jesus, then He is the reason for the to you. What you put stock in can become your God. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. exodus 20:3. 

With all this being said my main point today is like in all those Christmas movies where you have to have cheer for it to work. The point is to never let the real reason for the season to die. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16. With Jesus Disappearing as the reason, we who believe never should let that light die and remain firm in our faith. 13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. 1 Corinthians 16:13.

My second main point to today is not to be on a rant but to tell you that no matter what is said or done that I will always light up the name of Jesus and am asking that you do the same. I want when Jesus looks for someone of faith that there still be people who are on this wicked earth. We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. 1 John 5:19. Yes, the world is evil, but we are not, and we need to lift up that we are not and need the real reason for the season alive.

Main point one:  never let the real reason for the season to die

Main point two:  that no matter what is said or done that I will always light up the name of Jesus and am asking that you do the same.
