Faith Like Jesus: Matthew...

What can you cast out? what can you put into submission? What can you make happen?  But he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. Luke 18:27.Today we will start with Matthew and then move on till we get to John.

 And the report of him went forth into all Syria: and they brought unto him all that were sick, holden with divers diseases and torments, possessed with demons, and epileptic, and palsied; and he healed them. Matthew 4:24

1. And the centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof; but only say the word, and my servant shall be healed. Matthew 8:8
2. And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And the servant was healed in that hour. Matthew 8:13
3. And when even was come, they brought unto him many possessed with demons: and he cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all that were sick: Matthew 8:16
4. And Jesus perceiving it withdrew from thence: and many followed him; and he healed them all, Matthew 12:15
5. Then was brought unto him one possessed with a demon, blind and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the dumb man spake and saw. Matthew 12:22

9. and great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there. Matthew 19:2
10. And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them. Matthew 21:14
11. And the demons besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, send us away into the herd of swine. Matthew 8:31
12. These are the verses in Matthew that talk about healing and casting out demons for the purpose of this study I used the ASV American Standard Bible). This May not be a definitive list, but it is most of them and the point is that you hope see a pattern. This will make sense when we are done with John and why I have you look at these verses, but I bet you can already get an idea of why.  Tomorrow, we look at Mark.
