What can you cast out? what can you put into submission? What can you make happen? But he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. Luke 18:27. We need to have faith and then we need to believe. Have you ever wished for something or prayer for something and it didn't come true or happen? Did you have confidence and do with authority if not maybe that is why it didn't work.
If you are not confident in what you are doing how do you expect to do it well or at all. Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. Hebrews 10:35. We are to have confidence according to this verse because it has great reward. We need to be confident in what we are doing or how will it work. For if God is for who can be against us right? What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Roman 8:31. So, we need to be bold and walk with confidence when we are having faith like Jesus. we need to rest in that God is with us through it all and that He will help us always.
How do you expect something to happen if you have no authority. Behold, I have given you authority... the first part of Luke 10:19. Jesus has given us authority, so we should act like He has and not like he hasn't. Jesus walked the earth with authority and with confidence. He was not scared or lacking anything, He was God, and He came to save the least, last, and the lost. He came to heal those who were sick and needed help as well. He did all this with authority and confidence, so we need to walk in the same way.
So, we need to have faith and it can be as little as a mustard seed then we need to believe we can, and then we need to have confidence and have authority. For what you ask to have faith Like Jesus as I have said. Tomorrow, we look at what Jesus did on this earth and then we answer the questions above that have started every message in this series.
