What can you cast out? what can you put into submission? What can you make happen? But he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. Luke 18:27.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned. 17 And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:16-17
The answer we week seek to answer the questions above which have been at the beginning of every message can be found in the bible. If we are baptized in Jesus we are the ones just like Jesus who can cast out demons. If we are of Christ just like Matthew chapter 10 verse one says we are to b have the power the disciple did, 10 And he called unto him his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of disease and all manner of sickness. The same things that Jesus did and the disciple did way back when is what we can do today. We have the power to heal the sick, cast out demons, and given authority over unclean spirits. We Have that power in us we just need to have the things which we have talked about. We first need faith then we need to believe, then we need confidence and authority. We need to have authority not by men but by God like the verse we have had throughout the series what is impossible with men is possible with God Which till had not made much sense to have till now. Through God, we can do all things. we have been given authority over these things just like disciples.
What would it look like if we actually did that and lived out that way? Tomorrow we will look at that.
