Yesterday we talked about seeking God last. What about the middle? Why don't we take the verse in Matthew as a commandment to seek God first and the verse in Luke to seek God throughout the day? Nowhere in the Bible does it say that we are to seek God or be for God and then that is it. No, when we seek Him, we need to keep seeking him throughout the day. And my tongue shall proclaim Your righteousness And Your praise all day long. Psalm 35:28. We have been on this journey of seeking God first, but I am moving on to talking about seeking Him all day. it doesn't just end in the morning it is an all-day thing. My mouth is filled with Your praise And with Your glory all day long. 71:8. So may he live, and may the gold of Sheba be given to him; And they are to pray for him continually; They are to bless him all day long. Psalm 72:15. Be gracious to me, Lord, For I call upon You all day long. Psalm 86:3.
The Bible is overflowing with verses for us to worship and seek him. These are just a few from one book of the bible imagine if I went and did a search for all the verses on this in the bible. God wants us to seek Him and worship Him, but it is an all-day thing not just first or in the morning or last. This kind of seeking I am talking about is an all-day thing, a 24/7 kind of thing and I know that we sleep but even in sleep we are to seek Him.
In a world that wants nothing to do with Jesus, we are to seek him all-day long to worship Him, and to pray all-day long. So seek Him all-day long. if you pull nothing out of what I am saying but this seek Him all-day long. Not in the morning or first but all-day long. But it all starts with First seeking Him or you will not do it throughout the day.
So, seek God first middle, and last today!!!!
Have a day of seeking and be blessed by it, for it will change your life!!!!
All Bible verses taken from the NASB
