1 Peter 2:1-12

A Living Stone and a Holy People

So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation— if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.

As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For it stands in Scripture:

“Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone,
    a cornerstone chosen and precious,
and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”

So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe,

“The stone that the builders rejected
    has become the cornerstone,”

and

“A stone of stumbling,
    and a rock of offense.”

They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

11 Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul. 12 Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation. 1 Peter 2:1-12

James 4

Things to Avoid

What leads to [the unending] quarrels and conflicts among you? Do they not come from your [hedonistic] desires that wage war in your [bodily] members [fighting for control over you]? You are jealous and covet [what others have] and your lust goes unfulfilled; so you murder. You are envious and cannot obtain [the object of your envy]; so you fight and battle. You do not have because you do not ask [it of God]. You ask [God for something] and do not receive it, because you ask with wrong motives [out of selfishness or with an unrighteous agenda], so that [when you get what you want] you may spend it on your [hedonistic] desires. You adulteresses [disloyal sinners—flirting with the world and breaking your vow to God]! Do you not know that being the world’s friend [that is, loving the things of the world] is being God’s enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture says to no purpose that the [human] spirit which He has made to dwell in us lusts with envy? But He gives us more and more grace [through the power of the Holy Spirit to defy sin and live an obedient life that reflects both our faith and our gratitude for our salvation]. Therefore, it says, “God is opposed to the proud and haughty, but [continually] gives [the gift of] grace to the humble [who turn away from self-righteousness].” So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you. Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; and purify your [unfaithful] hearts, you double-minded [people]. Be miserable and grieve and weep [over your sin]. Let your [foolish] laughter be turned to mourning and your [reckless] joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves [with an attitude of repentance and insignificance] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up, He will give you purpose].

11 Believers, do not speak against or slander one another. He who speaks [self-righteously] against a brother or judges his brother [hypocritically], speaks against the Law and judges the Law. If you judge the Law, you are not a doer of the Law but a judge of it. 12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy [the one God who has the absolute power of life and death]; but who are you to [hypocritically or self-righteously] pass judgment on your neighbor?

13 Come now [and pay attention to this], you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and carry on our business and make a profit.” 14 Yet you do not know [the least thing] about what may happen in your life tomorrow. [What is secure in your life?] You are merely a vapor [like a puff of smoke or a wisp of steam from a cooking pot] that is visible for a little while and then vanishes [into thin air]. 15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and we will do this or that.” 16 But as it is, you boast [vainly] in your pretension and arrogance. All such boasting is evil. 17 So any person who knows what is right to do but does not do it, to him it is sin. James 4

Bible chapter taken from the AMP

Come as You Are: Easy but Hard...

The first step will not be easy but take heart Jesus has overcome the world. I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] John 16:33. So in faith Take the first step today.

The first step of stepping to come as you are may be easy to do in practice or in theory but in life, it may not be so easy. The first step may be hard to come as you are. Not just because you are in your stuff and such but evil and the devil doesn’t want you to come as you are to Jesus.

First, let’s talk about being your stuff. Have you ever had to empty a bottle to stop drinking and go sober? Thank God I never have but know people who have stopped drinking. It is not an easy task when what is in that bottle is so good. Another example is I go to places I shouldn’t, it’s normal for me to be there and it’s hard to break a routine (not speaking about my life). I get it the things we do are hard to break but once you do it is life-changing. Remember if God can overcome the world like the first verse I used then God, then you can overcome you sin and stuff.

The second thing keeping you from the first step is evil and the devil because they do not want you to come to Jesus. he may keep you deeper in your sin or stuff by saying you are not good enough to come to Jesus. he may keep you there by tempting you more to deeper in your stuff or sin. It does not matter what it is that the devil will try to do Jesus is greater than all that, he greater than sin, greater than stuff, greater than weakness, and greater than anything you can think of. Submit therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7. If we just submit to God as he is greater evil will flee but just taking the first step, in the verse it says resist, and by taking the first step you are resisting evil and the devil.

So, the first step may not be so easy but worth it once you come as you are…

Today I proclaim hands off the devil and evil on people who want to take the first step

I proclaim people will pour out the bottle

I proclaim people will stop looking on the internet at things they shouldn’t

I proclaim people will stop doing drugs

I proclaim people will stop prostituting

I proclaim people will stop going to strip clubs and they all have to close

I proclaim that the evil of this world will back down to where he/it belongs and that is the pit of hell

By the writing of this that the devil/evil would flee from everyone who wants to break free from bondage and come to Jesus just as they are

May the devil flee in Jesus’s name I proclaim this for everyone who wants to come as they are

I proclaim that the first step be guided and curated by Jesus

I proclaim that the road may not be easy, but that Jesus will be with you

May Jesus today guide you and protect you from evil/the devil so, that you can come as you are

I pray for all these things in the powerful Name of Jesus

Amen

So, no matter what it is that keeps you from coming to Jesus as you are Just remember, I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] John 16:33.

Revelation 3

 Message to Sardis

“To the angel (divine messenger) of the church in Sardis write:

“These are the words of Him who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: ‘I know your deeds; you have a name (reputation) that you are alive, but [in reality] you are dead. Wake up, and strengthen and reaffirm what remains [of your faithful commitment to Me], which is about to die; for I have not found [any of] your deeds completed in the sight of My God or meeting His requirements. So remember and take to heart the lessons you have received and heard. Keep and obey them, and repent [change your sinful way of thinking, and demonstrate your repentance with new behavior that proves a conscious decision to turn away from sin]. So then, if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you. But you [still] have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes [that is, contaminated their character and personal integrity with sin]; and they will walk with Me [dressed] in white, because they are worthy (righteous). He who overcomes [the world through believing that Jesus is the Son of God] will accordingly be dressed in white clothing; and I will never blot out his name from the Book of Life, and I will confess and openly acknowledge his name before My Father and before His angels [saying that he is one of Mine]. He who has an ear, let him hear and heed what the Spirit says to the churches.’

Message to Philadelphia

“And to the angel (divine messenger) of the church in Philadelphia write:

“These are the words of the Holy One, the True One, He who has the key [to the house] of David, He who opens and no one will [be able to] shut, and He who shuts and no one opens:

‘I know your deeds. See, I have set before you an open door which no one is able to shut, for you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not renounced or denied My name. Take note, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—I will make them come and bow down at your feet and make them know [without any doubt] that I have loved you. 10 Because you have kept the word of My endurance [My command to persevere], I will keep you [safe] from the hour of trial, that hour which is about to come on the whole [inhabited] world, to test those who live on the earth. 11 I am coming quickly. Hold tight what you have, so that no one will take your crown [by leading you to renounce the faith]. 12 He who overcomes [the world through believing that Jesus is the Son of God], I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God; he will most certainly never be put out of it, and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which descends out of heaven from My God, and My [own] new name. 13 He who has an ear, let him hear and heed what the Spirit says to the churches.’

Message to Laodicea

14 “To the angel (divine messenger) of the church in Laodicea write:

“These are the words of the Amen, the trusted and faithful and true Witness, the Beginning and Origin of God’s creation:

15 ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold (invigorating, refreshing) nor hot (healing, therapeutic); I wish that you were old or hot. 16 So because you are lukewarm (spiritually useless), and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth [rejecting you with disgust]. 17 Because you say, “I am rich, and have prospered and grown wealthy, and have need of nothing,” and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked [without hope and in great need], 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold that has been heated red hot and refined by fire so that you may become truly rich; and white clothes [representing righteousness] to clothe yourself so that the shame of your nakedness will not be seen; and healing salve to put on your eyes so that you may see. 19 Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I rebuke and discipline [showing them their faults and instructing them]; so be enthusiastic and repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, your sinful behavior—seek God’s will]. 20 Behold, I stand at the door [of the church] and continually knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him (restore him), and he with Me. 21 He who overcomes [the world through believing that Jesus is the Son of God], I will grant to him [the privilege] to sit beside Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down beside My Father on His throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear and heed what the Spirit says to the churches.’” Revelation 3

Bible chapter taken from the AMP

Come as You Are: First step...

So now that we have covered what it means to come as you are, how do you come as you are? there is no major formula or complicated method. Just one simple thing you need to do and that is wherever you just come and pray to him for Jesus to come into your life and that you want to have a relationship with Him. Behold, I stand at the door [of the church] and continually knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him (restore him), and he with Me. Revelations 3:20. If anyone can hear Him, we can come to Him, and He will have a relationship with us. To come as you are and have a relationship with Jesus and for Jesus to forgive you of your sins is easy. All It takes is the first step.

I'm in a bar, take the first step towards the bar exits and pray to Jesus and come as you are.

I do drugs, take the first step away from the drugs and pray to Jesus and come as you are.

I can't put down the bottle, take the first step away from the bottle and pray to Jesus and come as you are.

I am stressed all the time, kneel and pray to Jesus and come as you are.

I look at things on the internet I shouldn't, take the first step away from the computer and look away and pray to Jesus and come as you are.

anything you are going through or can think of, take the first step or kneel and pray to Jesus and come as you are.

It's that simple to come as you are. wherever you are, pray and come as you are and if you hear Him, you and Jesus are starting your relationship together.

I don't have it all together, I am too far into my mess, I can't I'm too far gone, whatever it is you are telling yourself; Jesus is calling you out for that I proclaim it right now in the Name of Jesus. there is nothing that Jesus can overcome. For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:37. The first three gospels talk about this. Jesus can do all things and there is nothing He cannot do.

(More on this tomorrow).

I proclaim whatever you are going through in Jesus's name that you will take the first step and to pray and come as you are!!!!

Who are going to share this with today, I ask you to think and share with that person(s)? Do you need this message for yourself?

1 John 1

The Incarnate Word

What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life— and the life was revealed, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was revealed to us— what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete.

God Is Light

This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us. 1 John 1

Bible chapter taken from the NASB

Come as You Are: Meaning Continued....

To come to Jesus as you are, is to come with your hang up, habits, and problems. Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. (That is the part I want to focus on). we do not need to have it all together to come to Jesus. Most people say how I can come to someone so holy I am a complete mess, a hot mess, or not worthy. People don't realize that God used messed up people, people who were a hot mess and felt not worthy to come to Him and do amazing things for God's kingdom. yesterday we looked at Paul and then at Noah as examples of that.

To come to Jesus as you are doesn't mean you are perfect but imperfect and realizing that you want to change that and be down a path to salvation and to come and be a follower of Jesus which I have spoken for of before in a series called Pick up the cross and follow Him. If we needed to be perfect to come to Jesus, no but Jesus would be on that list, and then what would be the point of a God and salvation and Him dying on the cross, it would be all for nothing. So, you can come to him, no matter what you are going through, habits you have, hang up, or sins you commit. God Doesn't care what you are going because you were created by Him, so you are worthy and by the cross, you have been brought with the price of His blood.

I get drunk and do stupid things, come as you are to Jesus

I eat like a glutenous person, come to as you are to Jesus

I look at things I shouldn't on the internet, come as you are to Jesus

I smoke weed to get high and feel numb, come as you are to Jesus

I go to strip clubs and pay for things of that nature, come as you are to Jesus

I kill Chrisitan's (Like Paul)

I watch way too much bad TV

I cut myself because I am not worthy

I tell myself that I am not worthy

(*There are many more, top many to list but you get the idea)

I do all those things, come as you are to Jesus

God doesn't care what it is you have done; nothing is Greater than Him. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16. He overcame the world, he over our Sin so that we can come to him as we are.

God doesn't care about your race, your past, your last name to who you kicked with in High school or are kicking it with, all He cares about is you coming to him as you are to Him today. I am a sinner, come. I am a prostitute, come. I am a tax collector, come. It doesn't matter just come to Jesus as you are. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9.

So, I ask you who do you need to share this with so they can come as they are to and come to Jesus? Do you need to come to Jesus just as you are?

Acts 9:1-31

Now Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest, and asked for letters from him to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them in shackles to Jerusalem. Now as he was traveling, it happened that he was approaching Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him; and he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” And He said“I am Jesus whom you are persecuting, but get up and enter the city, and it will be told to you what you must do.” The men who traveled with him stood speechless, hearing the voice but seeing no one. Saul got up from the ground, and though his eyes were open, he could see nothing; and leading him by the hand, they brought him into Damascus. And for three days he was without sight, and neither ate nor drank.

10 Now there was a disciple in Damascus named Ananias; and the Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.” 11 And the Lord said to him, “Get up and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying, 12 and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him, so that he might regain his sight.” 13 But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many people about this man, how much harm he did to Your saints in Jerusalem; 14 and here he has authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on Your name.” 15 But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel; 16 for I will show him how much he must suffer in behalf of My name.” 17 So Ananias departed and entered the house, and after laying his hands on him said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road by which you were coming, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” 18 And immediately something like fish scales fell from his eyes, and he regained his sight, and he got up and was baptized; 19 and he took food and was strengthened.

Saul Begins to Preach Christ

Now for several days he was with the disciples who were in Damascus, 20 and immediately he began to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, saying, “He is the Son of God.” 21 All those hearing him continued to be amazed, and were saying, “Is this not the one who in Jerusalem destroyed those who called on this name, and had come here for the purpose of bringing them bound before the chief priests?” 22 But Saul kept increasing in strength and confounding Jews who lived in Damascus by proving that this Jesus is the Christ.

23 When many days had elapsed, the Jews plotted together to do away with him, 24 but their plot became known to Saul. They were also closely watching the gates day and night so that they might put him to death; 25 but his disciples took him at night and let him down through an opening in the wall, lowering him in a large basket.

26 When he came to Jerusalem, he tried repeatedly to associate with the disciples; and yet they were all afraid of him, as they did not believe that he was a disciple. 27 But Barnabas took hold of him and brought him to the apostles and described to them how he had seen the Lord on the road, and that He had talked to him, and how he had spoken out boldly in the name of Jesus at Damascus. 28 And he was with them, moving about freely in Jerusalem, speaking out boldly in the name of the Lord. 29 And he was talking and arguing with the Hellenistic Jews; but they were attempting to put him to death. 30 Now when the brothers learned of it, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him away to Tarsus.

31 So the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria enjoyed peace, as it was being built up; and as it continued in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it kept increasing. Acts 9 1-31

Bible verses from the NASB

Come as You Are: Meaning...

So, what does it mean to come as you are? Simply put it is come as you are, if you are hurting come, if you are sinning come, if you are anxious come, if you are stressed come, if you are anything or doing anything come to Jesus. Nowhere in the Bible does it talk about having to have it all together to come to Jesus.

Let's take a look at Paul for a moment in acts chapter 9 it says, But Saul, yet breathing threatening and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest. Let's look at another person in the bible and that is Noah in Genesis 9 says, and he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.  The first Bible verse we looked at talks about an actual leading to a come to Jesus as you are moment. The second Bible verse talks about a drunk in the Bible and how God used him. I share both to say that God will use some of the worst people to the biggest drunks to come to Him and use them for His purpose. These people who God used sometimes would make us as people today scratch our heads why? The answer is to show us that anyone can come as you are and have a moment with Jesus so you can be used in the kingdom of God.

Most people think they cannot come to Jesus as they are because of shame, guilt, feeling so far gone, in sin, or anything else. I am here to tell you that no matter what you are currently in, going through, or have done you can still come to Jesus just as you and pray to Him. He will meet you where you are not where you think you need to be to come to him.

God is bigger than anything that you can comprehend and that is all you need to know to come to him as you are. God died on the cross so you can come as you are, and He will take away your sins.  Jesus says come as you are people who are weary and heavy burdened, Jesus will give you rest. Paul didn't have it all together before he came as he Was. so, the point to all this is no matter what you are going through, doing, or think you can come just as you are in the middle of it all and come to Jesus.

So, I ask of you today to pray and seek who you need to share this with and send them the link. I also ask that do you need to come to Jesus. Pray first it can change your life.

Hands off devil and all evil off the people I will share this with

Hands off devil in my life

Hands off devil in everything and in all things for I am the Lords

Let by this would hell be shattered Jesus

Jesus keep me and protect me

In Jesus Name

Amen

Come as You Are: The Kickoff!!!!!!

This series came about because of a song I heard called "Come as You Are. Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 This verse is talking about people who are weary or burdened, but the idea is that you come to Jesus. It's this idea just as you are to come to Jesus and surrender your life and surrender all that is in your past. There is nothing that can keep you from coming to Jesus.

Throughout this series, I will ask two things. The first thing is do you need to come to Jesus and what is it that you need to do so as you are? The second is who do you need to share this with and pray and share it. My pray as this series is happening is that it catches like a wildfire and person after person comes just as they are to come and know Jesus.

To start with we will look at what it means to come as you are. Then we will look at how to come as you are. Then we will look at specific things that keep us from Jesus and proclaim that you can come to just no matter what you have done or are doing. During the end of the series, I will be proclaiming things over you and the people you share this with so be prepared for lives to be changed as well as your own.

So everyone surrounding this series I say hands off devil, go back down to the pit of hell and stay there

Let all negative, bad spirits, and evil flee in the powerful name of Jesus

devil hands off the people I want to share this with

devil hands off all that I want to come to Jesus

Merry Christmas: The Light of the World!!!!!

Today is Christmas and am going to let the Bible speak for itself today:

Jesus Is the Light of the World

12 Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; the one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” 13 So the Pharisees said to Him, “You are testifying about Yourself; Your testimony is not true.” 14 Jesus answered and said to them, “Even if I am testifying about Myself, My testimony is true, because I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from or where I am going. 15 You judge according to the flesh; I am not judging anyone. 16 But even if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone in it, but I and the Father who sent Me. 17 Even in your Law it has been written that the testimony of two people is true. 18 I am He who testifies about Myself, and the Father who sent Me testifies about Me.” 19 So they were saying to Him, “Where is Your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither Me nor My Father; if you knew Me, you would know My Father also.” 20 These words He spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple area; and no one arrested Him, because His hour had not yet come.

21 Then He said again to them, “I am going away, and you will look for Me, and will die in your sin; where I am going, you cannot come.” 22 So the Jews were saying, “Surely He will not kill Himself, will He, since He says, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come’?” 23 And He was saying to them, “You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. 24 Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am, you will die in your sins.” 25 Then they were saying to Him, “Who are You?” Jesus said to them, “What have I even been saying to you from the beginning? 26 I have many things to say and to judge regarding you, but He who sent Me is true; and the things which I heard from Him, these I say to the world.” 27 They did not realize that He was speaking to them about the Father. 28 So Jesus said, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am, and I do nothing on My own, but I say these things as the Father instructed Me. 29 And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.” 30 As He said these things, many came to believe in Him. John 8:12-30.

Tomorrow, we start a series called "Come as You Are" in which I will ask something of you... You won't want to miss this series.

Psalm 141

Jehovah, I have called upon thee; make haste unto me:

Give ear unto my voice, when I call unto thee.
Let my prayer be set forth as incense before thee;
The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
Set a watch, O Jehovah, before my mouth;
Keep the door of my lips.
Incline not my heart to any evil thing,
To practise deeds of wickedness
With men that work iniquity:
And let me not eat of their dainties.
Let the righteous smite me, it shall be a kindness;
And let him reprove me, it shall be as oil upon the head;
Let not my head refuse it:
For even in their wickedness shall my prayer continue.
Their judges are thrown down by the sides of the rock;
And they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.
As when one ploweth and cleaveth the earth,
Our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.
For mine eyes are unto thee, O Jehovah the Lord:
In thee do I take refuge; leave not my soul destitute.
Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me,
And from the gins of the workers of iniquity.
10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets,
Whilst that I withal escape. Psalm 141

Christmas Speech...

What is Christmas speech? Simply put it is the talk that we say about when we speak of Christmas. I am not talking about happy holidays and stuff of that nature; I am talking about the speech that is becoming more and more unpopular. To say things like Merry Christmas is no longer right to say or can offend someone. To say God bless you is wrong to say now. To speak of the name of Jesus is like you saying a bad word these days. In my heart, I want to walk up to those people and just sit there and say, Jesus over and over to them until they come to Christ but what would that serve. Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! Psalm 95:6. We are to worship God and proclaim His glory.

As I was growing up, I never really liked things that were popular, liked popular things, so, for this to be true in this instance is not new to me. But for many, it can be disheartening or sad that the name of Jesus is wrong and saying the f-word or such is better to say. Rappers can talk about sluts and stuff but we talking about Jesus is wrong I say not. Rappers can call women horrible things and Merry Christmas is worse than that, I say not. That is why we need to do as the bible says in Ephesians 4:29, Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. We need to keep the Christmas speech alive. If the light dies like in all the horror movies it cannot be re light just like if the name of Christmas dies it can never come back. As long as I have breath in my lungs, I will say Merry Christmas.

I like the sediment that Jeff Dunham said through Walter Scr*w you It merry F-word Christmas (not the swearing part though). This is a holiday that is right, but it is not the holiday the name of the holiday is Christmas. So, we as Christians should lift high the name of Christmas Which Is Lifting High the name of Jesus because Without Jesus this season would not exist. Just like I have talked about speech before, this speech you say for the next two days matters so go forth and say Merry Christmas and Say Jesus's Name and if you are politically correct or unpopular just remind yourself what is in store for you in heaven and that you are lifting up the most important person in the world.
