Seek Ye First: The End to Yesterday and a Formula...

This is an action to do this, we have to say Matthew Chapter 6 verse 33 and then know that he will provide those things. We need to weave this into the fabric of our lives. We need to live this out every day as part of our daily walk. If we do not do this, how do we expect God to do more in our lives if all we care about is food, water, clothing, and housing and to further today bills, gas, and things of that nature? We need to get those things out of the way so God can give us more that he has for us. If we care about anxiety we will be anxiety and live for anxiety and God will only be about that for you. If all we care about is food and water we will live for and breathe water and food and God will only be about that for you. Same with clothing and shelter. But I want more and to go deeper so that is why I do as Matthew 6:33 says, But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. When we first seek ye the Kingdom these are the things that will be taken care of, food, water, clothing, shelter, bills, gas, and things of that nature, so with those things out of the way we can go deeper in Him and what He has for us.

If we go deeper in Him, He will go deeper with us. Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. John 14:23. If we keep God in our hearts and do things of Matthew 6:33 we will go deeper with Him and he in turn will go deeper with us.

To simplify it the formula is

Seek ye first the Kingdom

The basics will be provided, added, and given to us

Then we move on to not stressing, caring about, have anxiety about these things

We know that God will take care of these things

Then we go deeper with what God has for us apart from those things that we no longer worry about or think about

Then God will go deeper with us, and we will be more like Christ Jesus

The part of the formula that is a variable or not certain is the seek ye first part which can look different to each one of us. For me, it's getting up and saying Matthew 6:33 then start my day.

So, take time and apply this formula to your life and you will see amazing results.

Have a blessed day!!!

1 Peter 5

 The elders therefore among you I exhort, who am a fellow-elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, who am also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: Tend the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not of constraint, but willingly, according to the will of God; nor yet for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; neither as lording it over the charge allotted to you, but making yourselves ensamples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd shall be manifested, ye shall receive the crown of glory that fadeth not away. Likewise, ye younger, be subject unto the elder. Yea, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to serve one another: for God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your anxiety upon him, because he careth for you. Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: whom withstand stedfast in your faith, knowing that the same sufferings are accomplished in your brethren who are in the world. 10 And the God of all grace, who called you unto his eternal glory in Christ, after that ye have suffered a little while, shall himself erfect, establish, strengthen you. 11 To him be the dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 12 By Silvanus, our faithful brother, as I account him, I have written unto you briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God: stand ye fast therein. 13 She that is in Babylon, elect together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Mark my son. 14 Salute one another with a kiss of love. Peace be unto you all that are in Christ. 1 Peter 5

Seek Ye First: A Story, No Food, Then Seek

A man told me that this lady needed to feed her kids but had no money and she had water for three days and probably more because she had no money. Now whether she had Jesus or not I do not know. Of course, she needed Jesus. But we all have bills and have needs. God does not magically pay your bills, but He can. God does not say your bills are not important but is with us in paying them. We have needs and God doesn't say, I will not help you or go through them with you but God says I will be with you and help you through it all. But just like things that we and are discussed in Matthew chapter 6 verse 25 which says, 25 For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing? Going further we talked about where you will live. I believe bills fall under this category. 31 Do not worry then, saying, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear for clothing?’ 3But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you.

We are not to worry about those things, but we do and that is why I think we do not get the help and the blessing of God, for we are hung up on things of the flesh not the things of Jesus. That is the first point I wanted to mention. Jesus says to cast your care/anxiety unto me in 1 Peter 5:7. 7 casting all your anxiety upon him, because he careth for you. This verse does not say what anxiety you want to give Him but to give Him all your anxiety onto Him Because He cares for us. God cares for His people who He has called and who are Christians. If we seek God with our whole heart, why then do we worry or have anxiety knowing that God is with us, will help us, and will protect us from evil. There is so much freedom when we give all that stuff To God and only seek Him and His Kingdom. For I believe when we do this we can go to another level in His Kingdom, and we can be more of what God wants us to look like and what God has planned for our lives.

My second point is through it all seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Instead of worry seek Jesu! instead of anxiety seek Jesus1 instead of where the money will come from seek Jesus! Instead of needs in Jesus, you seek Jesus first and He will provide all your needs. This is an action to do this, we have to say Matthew Chapter 6 verse 33 and then know that he will provide those things.

I will finish this up tomorrow on this.

Philippians 3

The Goal of Life

Finally, my brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things again is no trouble for me, and it is a safeguard for you.

Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision; for we are the true circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and take pride in Christ Jesus, and put no confidence in the flesh, although I myself could boast as having confidence even in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he is confident in the flesh, I have more reason: circumcised the eighth day, of the nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the Law, a Pharisee; as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to the righteousness which is in the Law, found blameless.

But whatever things were gain to me, these things I have counted as loss because of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them mere rubbish, so that I may gain Christ, and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, 10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; 11 if somehow I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

12 Not that I have already grasped it all or have already become perfect, but I press on if I may also take hold of that for which I was even taken hold of by Christ Jesus. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not regard myself as having taken hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Therefore, all who are mature, let’s have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that to you as well; 16 however, let’s keep living by that same standard to which we have attained.

17 Brothers and sisters, join in following my example, and observe those who walk according to the pattern you have in us. 18 For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even as I weep, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ, 19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who have their minds on earthly things. 20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; 21 who will transform the body of our lowly condition into conformity with His glorious body, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself. Philippians 3

Seek Ye First: Update Turned Message

Discernment and no fasting. A test or problem that led to Matthew 6:33 being said and prayer. to a cat with a chip bag on its head and no worship was the highlight of my week. Still struggle with prayer at night. I update you to not tell you about my week but to tell you that even when we are trying to be more holy it doesn't mean, we won't fail in some areas. Nobody is perfect except Jesus Himself. for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23. it is true we all have sinned but the part that I want us to focus on is the last part that we have all fallen short of the glory of God. That doesn't mean that we do not keep on believing in Jesus or stop for guilt or shame we keep on going knowing that we fall short and that we strive to do better and be better than before.

We are to strive to be like Jesus whom I have talked about. You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5:48. we know this and take it to heart but when we fail or fall short, we need to give ourselves grace just as Jesus gives us grace. our own worst enemy is not the devil or evil all the time but us as we are most hard on ourselves. I know when I fail, I keep on running toward Jesus and His kingdom even when I feel guilty or shame for what I did or did not do. For me, that is striving to be like Jesus and being like the verse says to be perfect like your heavenly Father. To never give up is how I can strive to be like Jesus.

So, when you fail or when the storms come you need to remind yourself that you are not going to get it right all the time and keep on the race till the end and never stop even when shame and guilt come and try to derail you. Just because you strive to be better doesn't mean you will do better but still run and keep going towards Jesus and His Kingdom. 14 press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Press on, press on, and keep pressing on for the goal is Christ Jesus. I would rather have the prize of Jesus and His kingdom than some prize you get out of a claw machine or that is of the flesh and of man. So, keep on this journey and know God is with you!!!!!

All Bible verses taken from the ESV, NASB

God, I lift my hands and thank you,

No matter what help me and guide me to always keep on pressing on

even when the storms come, the guilt, and shame come

Let Me know that I can strive to be perfect but help me to know that

we will fail but the race, the pressing on does not stop because of that

That no matter what comes and happens we will keep pressing on toward the goal which is the prize of Jesus Christ

In Jesus Name

Amen

Have a Blessed day!!!!

1 Corinthians 12

12 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. Ye know that when ye were Gentiles ye were led away unto those dumb idols, howsoever ye might be led. Wherefore I make known unto you, that no man speaking in the Spirit of God saith, Jesus is anathema; and no man can say, Jesus is Lord, but in the Holy Spirit.

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are diversities of ministrations, and the same Lord. And there are diversities of workings, but the same God, who worketh all things in all. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit to profit withal. For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom; and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit: to another faith, in the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, in the one Spirit; 10 and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits: to another divers kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 but all these worketh the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each one severally even as he will.

12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ. 13 For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all made to drink of one Spirit. 14 For the body is not one member, but many. 15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; it is not therefore not of the body. 16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; it is not therefore not of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? 18 But now hath God set the members each one of them in the body, even as it pleased him. 19 And if they were all one member, where were the body? 20 But now they are many members, but one body. 21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of thee: or again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. 22 Nay, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be more feeble are necessary: 23 and those parts of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness; 24 whereas our comely parts have no need: but God tempered the body together, giving more abundant honor to that part which lacked; 25 that there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. 26 And whether one member suffereth, all the members suffer with it; or one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. 27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and severally members thereof. 28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, divers kinds of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? 30 have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? 31 But desire earnestly the greater gifts. And moreover a most excellent way show I unto you. 1 Corinthians 12

Seek Ye First: 4 Tests and Different

4 tests later and an answer that I did not expect. This journey, I have been on for 30 days, I have been looking and examining the gifts of the spirit and the gifts God has given me. The top three I got were apostleship, faith, and service/helps. I do not tell you this to boast about what I got but to tell you I have taken these before and the answers I got were a bit different than I remember at least for the first and second ones the third stayed the same. So, in this journey in the spirit wanted to encourage you to examine your gifts and see what gifts you have. you may have taken this before and know your gifts, but I thought I did and now that I did four different tests, I realize that mine at least the first two are not what I thought.

 And having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith; or ministry, let us give ourselves to our ministry; or he that teacheth, to his teaching; or he that exhorteth, to his exhorting: he that giveth, let him do it with liberality; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness. Romans 12:6-8

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are diversities of ministrations, and the same Lord. And there are diversities of workings, but the same God, who worketh all things in all. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit to profit withal. For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom; and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit: to another faith, in the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, in the one Spirit; 10 and to another workings of [a]miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits: to another divers kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 but all these worketh the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each one severally even as he will. 1 Corinthians 12:4-11.

We each have been given different spiritual gifts according to God and we are to use those gifts to glorify God and Bring others to glorify God. My point is this and it is to that take time today to relook at the gifts that God has given you and see if they are the right ones or if they are different than you thought. There are many tests you can take for free online so take time and take one today. In the Bible, it lists the gifts, and they are listed above. So, take time and see if you are surprised by what you get, and pray and seek God once you have gotten your results.
I have always taken the same test but this time I thought I would take a different one to see if I would get the same as the test I've always taken, and I believe I did. So again, I say take one today and see what your gifts are for the first time or to see if the results might not be what you thought or thought they were. Mine were not at least the first two, so I will have to do my research and see what they are all about.

Have a blessed day!!!!

Hebrews 4

 Let us fear therefore, lest haply, a promise being left of entering into his rest, any one of you should seem to have come short of it. For indeed we have had good tidings preached unto us, even as also they: but the word of hearing did not profit them, because [b]it was not united by faith with them that heard. For we who have believed do enter into that rest; even as he hath said,

As I sware in my wrath,
They shall not enter into my rest:

although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For he hath said somewhere of the seventh day on this wise, And God rested on the seventh day from all his works; and in this place again,

They shall not enter into my rest.

Seeing therefore it remaineth that some should enter thereinto, and they to whom [j]the good tidings were before preached failed to enter in because of disobedience, he again defineth a certain day, To-day, saying in David so long a time afterward (even as hath been said before),

To-day if ye shall hear his voice,
Harden not your hearts.

For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day. There remaineth therefore a sabbath rest for the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest hath himself also rested from his works, as God did from his. 11 Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, that no man fall after the same example of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

14 Having then a great high priest, who hath passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we have not a high priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but one that hath been in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore draw near with boldness unto the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help us in time of need. Hebrews 4

Seek Ye First: The Bible Talk Continued

 As I was reading the Bible, I got this thought and it is, just like the news I don't like, I don't like people to analyze what the Bible says and then tell me what they think of it. This thought/Idea is that I want to read it for myself and see what God has for me. this doesn't mean that I don't have to go to church to hear messages or teaching, it just means I don't like when people analyze and tell me what to think in or about the Bible.

You can read a thousand books on the bible but are you reading His word or the words of others and what they think? Are you reading their books, so your vision is skewed of the Bible? Are the ideas you are reading not of the Bible but of what some think they are in a book you read? Is the analyzing saying something that isn't there or going out of context just to get a point across? these are great questions to think about when you read other books than the bible and I am not saying to read them but what I am saying be careful where you get the information you are reading on the bible for it may not be accurate or right information skewed one way or another.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1. The words of the Bible are the words of God any other book on the subject is of man and may be given to a said person by God, but it is not God's word. Seek Ye first His word, Just like Matthew says in 6:33 we are to first seek Ye His Kingdom, let us seek first that by seeking first his word as well. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness. All scripture is that of God and is good for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness not of Man or what Man thinks but by God alone. 21 For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:21. We did not produce the things of the Bible, the Bible was, and all the prophecy was given and was created by God. So, the word is God's and is and was and will be from and Be God's, so should we seek His word Not the words of man and what man thinks but God and His word alone.

12 For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 The word of the Lord is living and is active but the words of man will one day pass away but the word of the Lord will remain.  Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal. The word of man can rust away just like the treasure of the earth, but the word of the Lord cannot rust or be taken away, it is living and will keep on living for the rest of the days and will be active. All the things of this earth and of man will pass away but the word of the Lord will not pass away it will remain forever.

12 For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

2 Timothy 3

 But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good, traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof: from these also turn away. For of these are they that creep into houses, and take captive silly women laden with sins, led away by divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. And even as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also withstand the truth; men corrupted in mind, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be evident unto all men, as theirs also came to be. 10 But thou didst follow my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, patience, 11 persecutions, sufferings; what things befell me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: and out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12 Yea, and all that would live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and impostors shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But abide thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 and that from a babe thou hast known the sacred writings which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness: 17 that the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work. 2 Timothy 3

Bible Chapter taken from the ASV

Seek Ye First: The Bible...

For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrew 4:12.

Today in seeking God first I have been getting this in my spirit to talk about and that is the Good Book verse many books. Lately, all I want to do is read the Good Book the Bible. I have gotten this idea of why do I want to read many books about Jesus when I can read the only book that actually matters, and that book is the Bible. Just like the verse says above the Bible is living and active. so just because it was not written this year or this century it is still as relevant as it was when it was written and put together as a book. The first Bible was created as we know it today was in A.D. 400 and was constructed by St. Jerome. This book can do what no other book can do and that is to do as 2 Timothy 3:16 says, Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness. the Bible is all we need to learn, for the Bible is ready to reproof, correct us, or instruct us in our faith.

There is a book I have been looking at buying but it is about the bible not a book about the bible. That makes no sense right, but I will put it a different way and say, the book I want to buy is about the bible and its history not about the Good Book told by someone else, or about what the Bible says or a concept of the Bible, or a way to live according to that person using the Bible. My whole thing is centered around wanting only to read the Good Book and that Book alone. i have a stack of the other book I was talking about and have not read them but kind of don't want to and stick only to the Good Book. I tell you all this because I can get caught up in reading other books about the bible and when I can I love to read and not even read the Bible, the book that really matters.

17 that the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work. 2 Timothy 3:17. If we read and hold to verse 16 which says, 16 Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness. We will be complete because we are men of God, complete for every good work.

So just as I am doing, I challenge you to only read the Good Book the Bible. As to the book I want to buy I will probably buy it to go deeper in the Bible and use it as a tool to read the Bible. Many books can help you in your walk and with your faith but are they the only book that actually matters because to me and in what I have learned so far from God those books are great but can replace the Bible instead you go to those books like that and not the Bible.

So read the Bible today and do not replace it with another book or books. The Bible alone is enough for me, how about you?

Have a blessed day!!!

Isaiah 41

 Israel Encouraged

41 “Listen to Me in silence, you coastlands,
And let the peoples gain new strength;
Let them come forward, then let them speak;
Let’s come together for judgment.
Who has stirred one from the east
Whom He calls in righteousness to His
feet?
He turns nations over to him
And subdues kings.
He makes them like dust with his sword,
Like the wind-driven chaff with his bow.
He pursues them, passing on in safety,
By a way he had not been
traversing with his feet.
Who has performed and accomplished it,
Summoning the generations from the beginning?
‘I, the Lord, am the first, and with the last. I am He.’”

The coastlands have seen and are afraid;
The ends of the earth tremble;
They have approached and have come.
Each one helps his neighbor
And says to his brother, “Be strong!”
So the craftsman encourages the smelter,
And he who smooths metal with the hammer encourages him who beats the anvil,
Saying of the soldering, “It is good”;
And he fastens it with nails,
So that it will not totter.
“But you, Israel, My servant,
Jacob whom I have chosen,
Descendant of Abraham My friend,
You whom I have
taken from the ends of the earth
And called from its remotest parts,
And said to you, ‘You are My servant,
I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
10 Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, I will also help you,
I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
11 Behold, all those who are angered at you will be shamed and dishonored;
Those who contend with you will be as nothing and will perish.
12 You will seek those who quarrel with you, but will not find them,
Those who war with you will be as nothing and non-existent.
13 For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand,
Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’
14 Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you people of Israel;
I will help you,” declares the Lord, “and your
Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.
15 Behold, I turned you into a new, sharp threshing sledge with double edges;
You will thresh the mountains and pulverize them,
And make the hills like chaff.
16 You will winnow them, and the wind will carry them away,
And the storm will scatter them;
But you will rejoice in the Lord,
You will boast in the Holy One of Israel.

17 “The poor and needy are seeking water, but there is none,
And their tongues are parched with thirst.
I, the Lord, will answer them Myself;
As the God of Israel I will not abandon them.
18 I will open rivers on the bare heights,
And springs in the midst of the valleys;
I will make the wilderness a pool of water,
And the dry land fountains of water.
19 I will put the cedar in the wilderness,
The acacia, the myrtle, and the olive tree;
I will place the juniper in the desert,
Together with the elm tree and the cypress,
20 So that they may see and recognize,
And consider and gain insight as well,
That the hand of the Lord has done this,
And the Holy One of Israel has created it.

21 Present your case,” the Lord says.
“Bring forward your evidence,”
The King of Jacob says.
22 Let them bring them forward and declare to us what is going to take place;
As for the former events, declare what they were,
So that we may consider them and know their outcome.
Or announce to us what is coming;
23 Declare the things that are going to come afterward,
So that we may know that you are gods;
Indeed, do good or evil, that we may be afraid and fear together.
24 Behold, you are less than nothing,
And your work is less than nothing!
He who chooses you is an abomination.

25 “I have put one from the north into motion, and he has come;
From the rising of the sun he will call on My name;
And he will come upon rulers as upon
mortar,
As the potter treads on clay.”
26 Who has declared this from the beginning, that we might know?
Or from former times, that we may say, “He is right!”?
There was no one at all who declared,
There was no one at all who proclaimed,
There was no one at all who heard your words.
27 “Previously I said to Zion, ‘Behold, here they are.’
And to Jerusalem, ‘I will give a messenger of good news.’
28 But when I look, there is no one,
And there is no counselor
among them
Who, if I ask, can give an answer.
29 Behold, all of them are
false;
Their works are nothing,
Their cast metal images are wind and emptiness. Isaiah 41

Seek Ye First: Verse 24...

24 and He Himself brought our sins in His body up on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by His wounds you were healed. 1 Peter 2:24. Jesus brought all our sins to the cross so, that we could live without sin and live for righteousness. Since Jesus did this we are to not sin and be righteous.  By Jesus doing this we are to be healed. Hurray no more sin, it's all taken away. No that is not how it works, yes Jesus did die for our sins, and we might die to sin. The truth is we still sin and if you say I don't sin you are lying to God, and He knows it already so be truthful to him as he knows all anyways.

Jesus cannot keep going to the cross and dying for our sins. As it happened in the bible no, He is now sitting in heaven.  But to our sins, we can still take them to the cross and lay them at the feet of the cross and give them to Jesus to take away when we repent of our sins. Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; Acts 3:19. We are to repent, so our sins can be wiped away. We are still to give our sins to Jesus, so we are without sin and live for righteousness.

To be like Him, to be imitators of Jesus we need to get rid of all sins we have. Confess them at the foot of the cross and be wiped clean so we can be without sin and live for righteousness. What sin do you need to confess today to Jesus so you can be more like Him? Take time to confess your sins. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. But we have to confess all our sins, we cannot confess the one we want to. It does not work like that we have to confess all our sins to Him and lay them at the foot of the cross. To point out here you may not know you are sinning so I suggest to start off with as you do this is to seek Jesus and ask Him if there is any sin you do not know of and to have it revealed to you so you can repent of that sin and be more like Jesus. Once you have left the sin at the foot of the cross do not take it back because of guilt or shame or anything else.

Once you give something to Jesus never take it back just know that Jesus will take care of it. Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10. God is with us and will always help those who are His children. So, take time today to ask and repent of your sins to be more like Him. Have a Blessed day!!!!
