11 for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.
12 Therefore, I will always be ready to remind you of these things, even though you already know them and have been established in the truth which is present with you. 13 I consider it right, as long as I am in this earthly dwelling, to stir you up by way of reminder, 14 knowing that the laying aside of my earthly dwelling is imminent, as also our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me. 15 And I will also be diligent that at any time after my departure you will be able to call these things to mind.
Verse 11
The way-ministered to you
One version uses entry and another entering.
Eternal Kingdom refers to heaven.
We will be given entry into heaven.
It will be richly supplied to you as one version puts it.
18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will [a]bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. 2 Timothy 4:18
Verse 12
God will remind us of the things that are from Him and what we need to do.
Even though we already know them.
The truth presented refers to the preaching of the Gospel to them.
3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Philemon 3:1
Verse 13
I think it right- it becomes me as a disciple of Jesus, a duty.
Earthly dwelling refers to the tabernacle.
Many versions use remembrance instead of reminder.
7 For I have had great joy and comfort in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother. Philemon 1:7
verse 14
Earthly dwelling meaning my tabernacle is imminent refers to Peter's death.
The rest of the verse talks about that God had shown Him that we were to die.
5 For we know that if our earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made by hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 Corinthians 5:1
Verse 15
I will permanently leave my views on the subjects that I have preached to you so that you will not forget them.
31 who, appearing in glory, were speaking of His departure, which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem. Luke 9:31
