We have been looking at all the festivals in the Bible and the Jews love to party for God.
But what about us as Christians?
We may not have festivals, but we have holidays.
Some of these holidays include Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, and the 4th of July.
The holiday may only be one day not many like most of the festivals, but we still celebrate all month long most often.
But taking that into account that is not what I am talking about when I presented the question what about us as Christians.
Every time we come to God; we should party for Him.
When we go for prayer, we should party for God.
When we wake up, we should party for God.
When we go to church we should party for God.
Every minute of every day we should party for God.
It's this idea that every minute of every day we should party for God meaning we should be joyous, shouting, and worshipping like no other, dancing, praying with intent all the time.
The things people think of when they think of a party are frat parties, getting drunk or stoned, getting together with people, presents, cake, food, and things of that nature.
But the party for God is...
150 Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! 2 Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! 3 Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! 4 Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! 5 Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! 6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Psalm 150:1-6 ESV
So how do you party for God each day?
