During this festival, they offered their firstfruits.
‘Also on the day of the first fruits, when you offer a new grain offering to the Lord at your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy [summoned] assembly; you shall do no laborious work. Numbers 28:26
It was a standard to do an all-night study of the Torah on the first night of this festival.
Also, children would be given treats as rewards for memorizing scripture.
The Book of Ruth was the book of the Torah that was read during the festival.
The people back in that day would light candles and recite blessings.
the people of this would adorn their houses and synagogues with greenery to decorate them.
The decorating with greens represents the harvest.
The Tree of life is the reference that is used in the Torah.
They would also eat lots of dairy foods.
There were also services for this festival.
