Seek Ye First: Seek Him and His kingdom...

So, seek Him and let all that needs to be added let it be added. So, you can be more than those things and where they will come from. God wants us to go deeper with him but when we are focused if things that He knows we need, we cannot go deeper with God as he wants because we are not focusing on the right things.

So, let's think of it this way Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33. Know that it will be added and then forget about those things because they will be added and focus on the rest of what God has for you. For if we seek His Kingdom until the end, we shall inherit these things. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. and what shall we inherit? And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. Revelations21:7,3-4,6. All this will be ours if we first seek His Kingdom and can be overcomers till the end In His Kingdom.

The race starts the same way as it ends seeking first His Kingdom. To have all the wonders God has for us we need to seek His Kingdom and then forget those trivial things and know that they will be taken care of. Overcoming starts the same way we need to first seek His Kingdom. anything you can think of starts and ends with seeking God and His kingdom first.

Why is this and that is because it is done, like the first part of revelations verse 6 says. God will take care of His people if we first seek God and His Kingdom. If we overcome and finish the race in the same way and that is to seek God and His kingdom first.

Mark 10:28-31

28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. 29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. 31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first. Mark 10:28-31

Seek Ye First: Did You Do It...

Yesterday I had you do an assessment at the end of our discussion. did you do it, was it helpful, will you make changes? For this, that is up to you, I can only guide you, I cannot do it for you or change you. You need to do it for yourself and do it for God. Do not do it on my account, if you do it for man it will mean nothing. All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust. Job 34:15. But God is forever so, seek Him and do it for Him, for man like the verse says will turn into dust. but a man who is upright the Lord will leave no good thing withheld. 11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. 84:11. If we seek Him we will leave nothing back from us that we need.29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. Mark 10:29-30. If we seek Him, He will give to us a hundredfold.

This is what I have been talking about do not be anxious for the things like food and water and clothing and shelter. for God know that we need those things.31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

For God has more than these things for us but if we do not seek Him and let Him take care of these things we cannot get or inherit the other things He has for us. For what we seek we will be about and be given only. So, seek Him and let all that needs to be added be added. So, you can be more than those things and where they will come from.

I will leave it there for today, to let that sink in and you can meditate on that. Have a blessed Day!!!!!

Matthew 10:35-37

35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Matthew 10:35-37

Seek Ye First: Assessment Ourselves

I wanted to touch on this point that our greatest enemy isn't the devil to this idea we have been on, it is us that is our greatest enemy.  We are our own worst enemies. 36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. Matthew 10:36. Today, as I continue on this series, we will take an assessment of this idea of getting out of the way of ourselves so we can seek the Kingdom first.

I have asked this question before, what keeps you from seeking Him first (worshipping God)? What can you not let go of? And the answer is never the devil he put obstacles in your way but those are and can be overcome in Jesus' Name. So, what is it that is keeping you from seeking Him first (worshipping God)? A bad marriage, death of a loved one, anger, hate, divorce, pain, health, or lack of belief. Whatever it is capture it today In Jesus' name, don't let it capture you and take hold of your life anymore. release it To Jesus and never look back move forward and he will if we seek Him first will take care of it.

The questions I mentioned above look them over and answer them and then meditate on them and seek God and give them to Him. if you really want to have this idea of seeking God first and seeking him and in everything, put effort into this and do it right.

1. what keeps you from seeking Him first (worshipping God)?

2. What can you not let go of?

Simple questions but can be hard to answer. Have a blessed day!!!!

1 Chronicles 16:10-13

1Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord. 11 Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually. 12 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; 13 O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones. 1 Chronicles 16:10-13

Seek Ye First: Everything

There is a song I like that is in an African language called Anoba and the main lyrics to the song say in English let God into everything let him into everything. Yesterday as I was finishing up, I got this song in my mind to share with you, but I cannot. This song goes perfectly with what we are talking about we first looked at first seeking the Kingdom then we looked at seeking the Kingdom last then the middle now everything which is where we currently talking about.

Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually. 1 Chronicles 16:11. This verse says we are to continually seek His face. We are to seek God all day long in everything we do and when we move. In chess, you think about what move to make and then make a move. What if we did that with God, we sought first His Kingdom, and then we moved. But just like chess if we do not move the other person cannot move. It is the same with God we have to seek His kingdom then he will help us to move so he can move (lead us).

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. James 4:8. If we seek (draw nigh) to God will God Draw nigh to us, He will seek us and be with us. 18 And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. Isaiah 30:18. God is waiting for us to come to Him, to seek his Kingdom first, in everything. that does not mean he will not move without us but he waiting to top do it with us. we may find that God is not moving in our lives but are we seeking Him so He can move in our lives.

God

I praise You and thank You for this day

I pray that You are the fabric of everything in our lives

That we seek You first in everything we do and before we move

I pray that when we seek You, we will find You and You will be with us

God, I thank you for all things and give You all the glory and honor You deserve

You are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end

You are the great I Am

So, thank You for all things

In Jesus Name

Hebrews 2:5-8

For He did not subject to angels the world to come, about which we are speaking. But someone has testified somewhere, saying,

What is man, that You think of him?
Or a son of man, that You are concerned about him?
You have made him
for a little while lower than angels;
You have crowned him with glory and honor
;
You have put everything in subjection under his feet.”

For in subjecting all things to him, He left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we do not yet see all things subjected to him. Hebrews 2:5-8

Seek Ye First: Everything...

8 Thou didst put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he subjected all things unto him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we see not yet all things subjected to him. Hebrews 8:2. 11 For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. 33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you. All Bible verses taken from the ASV, NASB

We are to seek God for He has plans for us and then we will pray and seek Him and will find Him when we search with our whole hearts. we are to put everything we need under subjection to God, and if we do not it will be left out because we did not give it to God. Where does the last verse the one been using fit in?

Seek ye first His Kingdom is the part of the verse I want to look at to say that why do we not seek ye first the Kingdom in everything we do not just for the things that we talked about that were given/added/ provided. Why not seek the Kingdom in your finances, in your cooking, in your struggles, when you can go to the bathroom. I am talking about everything even in our walking, what would our lives be like if we did this?

Before you move you seek ye first His Kingdom. Before you go out seek ye first His Kingdom. Before work seek ye first His Kingdom. Before you use the bathroom seek ye first His Kingdom. Seek ye first His kingdom in everything that we would seek God first and then move.

Dear God,

I praise you and thank you

Let us seek ye first in everything we do and

let us not move until we do

Let us seek ye first when we don't feel like it or think we have it covered

Humble us so that we will seek ye first again

Gives us the burden to seek ye first in everything we do

You are the Alpha and Omega

The great I Am

I give you Jesus all the glory and honor

In Jesus name

Amen

Psalm 35:28

And my tongue shall proclaim Your righteousness

And Your praise all day long. Psalm 35:28

Seek Ye First: All-Day long

Yesterday we talked about seeking God last. What about the middle? Why don't we take the verse in Matthew as a commandment to seek God first and the verse in Luke to seek God throughout the day? Nowhere in the Bible does it say that we are to seek God or be for God and then that is it. No, when we seek Him, we need to keep seeking him throughout the day.  And my tongue shall proclaim Your righteousness And Your praise all day long. Psalm 35:28. We have been on this journey of seeking God first, but I am moving on to talking about seeking Him all day.  it doesn't just end in the morning it is an all-day thing. My mouth is filled with Your praise And with Your glory all day long. 71:8. So may he live, and may the gold of Sheba be given to him; And they are to pray for him continually; They are to bless him all day long. Psalm 72:15. Be gracious to me, Lord, For I call upon You all day long. Psalm 86:3.

The Bible is overflowing with verses for us to worship and seek him. These are just a few from one book of the bible imagine if I went and did a search for all the verses on this in the bible. God wants us to seek Him and worship Him, but it is an all-day thing not just first or in the morning or last. This kind of seeking I am talking about is an all-day thing, a 24/7 kind of thing and I know that we sleep but even in sleep we are to seek Him.

In a world that wants nothing to do with Jesus, we are to seek him all-day long to worship Him, and to pray all-day long. So seek Him all-day long. if you pull nothing out of what I am saying but this seek Him all-day long. Not in the morning or first but all-day long. But it all starts with First seeking Him or you will not do it throughout the day.

So, seek God first middle, and last today!!!!

Have a day of seeking and be blessed by it, for it will change your life!!!!

John 10:9-11

I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly. 11 “I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. John 10:9-11

Seek Ye First: The Last

The day is done, the sun has gone down, it's time for bed and you have given sought God first. But know what do you do? This year I started out on this journey to make it a point to have my time with God in the morning before I start my day. To say I have been perfect is not something I can say for when I was sick, I did not do so well. Other than that time I have been pretty good. and since the holiday series, I have changed things up and so I seek God first when I wake for there is time there that can have anything happen before I do my time with God.

The Lord will send His goodness in the daytime; And His song will be with me in the night,
A prayer to the God of my life. Psalm 42:8. When we seek God first, we will be with us throughout our day. but then night falls and what do we do. we should still seek God first at night before bed. For me and (I do not know for you) saying seek ye first the Kingdom it will be added, it will be given, it will be taken care of and then it can be as simple as a prayer. I will bless the Lord who has advised me; Indeed, my mind instructs me in the night. Psalms 16:7. For happens during the day is something we need to guard against and more so in the night for we are asleep and need to guard, our minds, our hearts, and souls.

But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. Matthew 24:43. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:10. The thief comes at night and if do not seek God first at night he can come to take away all that we did during the day to seek God.

We wake up praising God, but do we praise Him in the night when it is time for bed. For me, this is the area I need to work on and it may never be perfect, but it is something I can strive for.

So, ask do you seek God at night first?
Do you praise Him for the day?
Do you guard yourself for the night?
Do you surround yourself with God at night?

Just as we should do these things in the morning, we should also do them at night. So, take time to answer these questions and meditate on them, and put them into practice. For there is no formula I can give you but seek the Bible and it will direct you. Have a blessed day!!!
